LOL.
LOL.
I didn’t remember half of that! But yeah. It all happened and meanwhile I was here?
To think, the same people whose clear-minded, non-click-baity yet feminist values swung the election for Hillary Clinton!
Because the song is good. And having listened to it maybe 900,000 times in a row, “Calm down” now sounds like “come down.” And there is a rocking back-and-forth quality to it. And a satisfying tranquility. I suspect it’s going to be a better drug counselor for a lot of freshman than actual drug minders.
She writes albums. She’s written lots of great ones. I didn’t care for “Me.” But I think people, even geniuses, have the right to publicly malfunction and still be themselves - so long as they don’t rape. Bare with a few singles that don’t quite redeem your idea of her potential - give her the benefit of the doubt! You…

Opinions are wonderful in their variety and wrongness!
I for one find this song radical in its frank acknowledgment of male online emotionality as a nemesis worthy of teasing rebuke on the same par as a lover.

You think it’s far-fetched for a woman who’s online to receive death threats? Are these really the receipts you want?
Doesn’t it also rip off the entire marketing campaign for Thinx panties?
re-reading now, sober. sorry!
Bitch, she’s a writer. You’re a commenter.
LOL.
Facts! To be fair tho, I’m hot, and according to ex-boyfriends, I’m a taker!!!
I don’t defend “Me!”
She’s the best-selling musician of her generation and one of the best songwriters of all time. She was TIME’s person of the year, she’s testified against the man who sexually assaulted her, and she’s become a political activist. But Taylor Swift will have accomplished nothing, nothing, in her 30 years on this planet un…
