I agree wholeheartedly. I’m so disgusted with the anti refugee talk. They are the most vulnerable people out there, and these assholes are all “but skittles”

I am so sad that we aren’t helping. So many people are experiencing unimaginable suffering and we won’t help because... we’re scared? It’s disgusting.
That too.
2 years before they get placed, no choice in where they are placed (and with the US only taking 10k, odds are against them getting placed in the US), and vetted like you wouldn’t believe.
He surrounds himself with the devastatingly incompetent, the homicidally bigoted, people celebrated by literal Nazis, he lost the popular vote, he runs crying to mommy at the slightest rebuke from anyone, continues to conduct business while receiving top secret briefings, wants to wipe out overtime pay laws, has his…
Yeah, these guys are not idiots. They are villainous pieces of shit.
Noted white nationalist for Chief Strategist (Steven Bannon)
This is the guy who created the “Crosscheck” system for voter suppression which may be responsible for Trump’s taking the electoral college.
I don’t know about you, but when I worked in midtown, I didn’t personally choose my office’s location. That’s where the job was, so that was where I had to go. Your argument makes no sense when you think of the reality of living here.
Yeah, too bad the fucking tower is 1 block south of Central park and on a major commuting pathway to and from Grand Central. Fuck everyone and all the overtime this kind of circus is going to cost the city too. FYI, I was in the city yesterday, and the cops even 1 block north of the tower were 5-6 deep. Neither the…
I’m pretty sure that’s what he meant but what good does that actually do anybody? OK, we know a bunch of bigots, what do we do with this new, never before known information that there’s a large amount of racist idiots in America?
“Bush doesn’t care about black people.” -Kanye West, 2005.
the problem isn’t the process, it is the racist xenophobic bigot the process chose. Not that hard to understand
Are you attempting to draw a causal correlation between a handful of people tweeting death threats and the minimum necessary security required for any president?
The “presidential retreat” is always subject to extraordinary security concerns. This is primarily why presidents that don’t behave as egomaniacs locate them…
Exactly. Also why they won’t care about Flynn having given classified information to unauthorized people even though Hillary should be locked up for emails. It was never about that. It was about restoring the white patriarchy to its rightful place. (Not that it had gone anywhere...)
I do believe there was a small minority of Trump voters who really believed he would do some of things he said. I’ve heard some really sincere people who truly believed that he would roll back Obamacare and give them an affordable option. But so far has he put forward anyone who he is even remotely qualified to do…
Oy, I had to explain this to someone the other day. She said she was finally starting to feel hopeful because of “our system of checks and balances.” I told her that the Supreme Court was unlikely to do an extreme, immediate about-face on stuff like abortion and marriage equality, because that’s just not really how…
I know some think it’s a bit comical that Trump is (predictably) reneging his promises to his moron supporters that he’ll hire outsiders and “drain the swamp,” but you have to remember that anyone who voted for him never actually gave a shit about that. Hence why they also reelected the vast majority of incumbents.
This is a nightmare for those who are worried about immigration. Jeff Sessions is extremely dangerous because he actually knows quite a lot about how the immigration system works, in minute details. He’s not a dumb man either. He knows exactly where to stick the knife.
Sessions is, naturally, anti-abortion and opposed to marriage equality because of his deeply-held family values.
