I think giving him immunity is worth it as long as it brings further evidence against the Trump administration or help clear them. What is going to be annoying is if he gets immunity and provides nothing substantial to the investigation.

Way to miss the point. Anyone would get tickets and lose their license if cops decided to spend all their time trailing them the way cops in racist areas follow black drivers around.

But if you can write a check that clears, suddenly you’re a good driver and no longer a menace on the roads?

“There is only one reason one invokes the Fifth: they’re guilty...”

Exactly! I know why the younger people are leaving. They see how judgemental and controlling the people around them are in these more rural areas, trying to impose their morality and religion on them, while being hypocrites themselves, and they can’t wait to leave.

Don’t blame them a bit. It’s far nicer to be around

My hometown recently lost its Planned Parenthood clinic - one that had been there for 30 years. Despite the fact that it did not provide abortion services, it was still looked on with hatred and derision. Many of my friends whose parents constantly railed about its evils went there on the regular (they had a

So... Ok. OK. So my head hurts but... He... Wait. The president of the United States told the Russian foreign minister that he had deliberately fired the head of the investigation into Russian interference in an election that ended in said President winning, and this thus as good because it took the pressure off of

I had a very lovely lunch at Taco Bell today with my very conservative law partner. He listens to conservative talk radio all day and keeps up on current events with Fox News. They just parrot the talking points that paint the current administration in as favorable a light as they can. He did mention that he feels

Because fox’s ledes so far this afternoon have been Wiener and dam leaks. (I wish I was kidding)

“I don’t care if it’s a good guy or a bad guy—I will never allow that to happen again,” Perez told reporters.

Oh man, I seriously hope someone robs that dude’s house and police officer is like “hey, you should be grateful someone thinks your stuff is nice enough to steal. Let’s leave it at that sweetcheeks.”

Okay so, wow, you really can’t distinguish between someone putting out a visual and another person putting their hands on that thing? That’s like me saying, “hey, if you put that new car out in the driveway, you should have no problem with me taking a literal shit on it.”

A lot of suicide prevent specialists said the show itself, not just the death scene, was problematic. Apparently when young suicide is glammorized or discussed often on the news, there is an increase in the suicide rates of teens/young adults.

ESKIMO

I mean, what’s irresponsible (and what people are mad about) is less the bare fact that you depicted the act of suicide, and more that you depicted the act of suicide as a glamorous, romanticized event and portrayed it as effective revenge against the people “at fault” for her death.

No leftist should have any business being pro-Putin. The man’s an autocrat and a straight-up murderer.

The comments over on Gizmodo are depressing AF. To paraphrase, the elderly doctor deserved it, should not have raised his voice, should have just used his “cell phone to re-book patients from his hotel room,” and that this whole incident has been entirely blown out of proportion.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone miss the point so spectacularly. I guess you’re ok with a world in which reacting to shitty customer service with nonviolent anger (an extremely understandable reaction) mean that a corporation can use police to give you a concussion. I guess next time someone gets pissed because
