which side of town do you live in so i know where to avoid

did i once imply that a system is equivalent to the real thing? no.

but seeing as i live halfway across the country, it’ll have to do for now

Forza as well, i know Laguna Seca all the way round, Road America im almost there, and Road Atlanta ive got in my head.

getting close to knowing Seabring too but theres always room for more.

uhhhhhhhhh, damn making me think about this one. it could have been the “base” trim for the 2 door cause i know there were other options (pioneer as an example).

good luck finding them now though! i had a shot at one that was EVERYTHING i wanted in an XJ and the jackass wouldnt respond.
94 2 door 4.0 5 speed 4x4 in

its a trim pack, i owned a 4 door sport.

if memory serves, it was some trim, the tach, roof rack as standard and maybe the upgraded rear end.

that said, even the base model XJ was no slouch, nippy little bastard when you needed it.

yeah thanks i almost spit out my drink for that, but yeah!

should have had a trio of models at the start line repping ford’s win from 66. or have a Mark II and a new GT crossing together to celebrate the 50th anniversary

wouldnt that effectively become a self driving motorcycle?

Teachable incident. Honing is dangerous and the machine should always be respected. Especially one with a reputation

special permitting is my only guess there, otherwise they were hardcore breaking the regs.

and cops vary from load to load. i dont actually remember ever needing Staties from NM on any of our trips. Louisiana to Florida sure, but never from the west.

ill add in a couple of additions to that, include some track time in a RWD and a FWD car, and maybe even time in an SUV or sorts on a closed course. to really drive home the difference in behavior between the cars.

with that, emergency maneuver practice is a MUST.

its not the cars fault they crashed, its the drivers and pauls for doing stupid things behind the wheel and for not putting a fresh set of tires on it.

if anything poo on them for killing a truly magnificent beast through stupidity.

959, 993 GT2, and then something classy like a 356 speedster

EDIT: its a hard toss between the 356 and a 930 flat nose. a really really hard tossup

You'd have to get the cyclists to behave and obey those laws and it's a pain enough getting them to use basic road logic.

I like it, makes my old job sound fancy.

sheer size, they are much too big for a single helicopter to lift effectively, meaning you’d need at least 2 super heavy lift choppers, which are much more expensive than using trucks

oh hey look another houstonian! that or you were on escort

actually a lot of that gets farmed out to the escorts, at least over here it does. when i was subcontracted to LM we had to go out 2 weeks in advance to check for new construction, obstructions, things that could effect the upcoming load.

so the route planner gives the basic idea, but us pilot minions had to do the

thats interesting because NM tends to be one of the biggest fascists about oversize regs.
