I saw it last night with friends who all read the book. I think once this initial weekend of “girls night!” is over, the movie will disappear. It definitely earned an award for best adaption to a screenplay because that book was garbage. The only book I’ve thrown in the trash because I wanted to save anyone else from picking it up at a used bookstore and thinking it was worth the quick read. 

Livestreamed this movie during Sundance, and I’m so glad it is finally available. I loved this movie with the same warm heart as watching Schitt’s Creek. I’m recommending it to everyone and hope it doesn’t get lost in the streaming shuffle.
