I would add that you should scan the receipts. I made the mistake a few years ago of stuffing all my receipts in a folder. Half of them the ink just faded into oblivion. A lot of them are printed with the worlds cheapest ink and paper.

I don’t think this should be spun as a bad thing. They’re trying to prepare for a market correction/recession. The past few years have been too good for there not to be one.
