Wait wait wait—I was dead serious about that ambulance. It’s absolutely capable of doing this job, better than almost anything else. Rationally, what’s the issue? It’s a very capable, incredibly well-built 4WD camper. Not exotic or weird or anything like that. Forget what it used to be, and look at what it is!

You all know me and know what I drive and so you are going to expect me to go with old land cruiser. But frankly, you should buy a Subaru.

Outback is the correct answer!! Can’t believe that of these so called experts, none of them figured it out. My ‘06 can swallow a twin mattress and I sleep in it quite often. With the right tires, this car can go pretty far off the beaten path!

The ambulance actually makes decent sense. That firetruck/ambulance for sale site has some cool stuff, alot of it is a hell of a lot more expensive than I would have thought though.

Honda Element; 4Wd, auto is no problem decent on gas, the seats fold away for storage or sleeping inside, you can hose down the inside if it gets dirty... and you would have spare money to get the custom camper Mod.

Now playing

No budgetary limitation and you come up with a Range Rover? You need to dream a little bigger, darling. I give you the Earthroamer XV-HD, $1.5m nicely equipped.

I immediately thought “Range Rover” but he said “reliable” so I gave up on that one...

40K you say ?

Real estate is cheap.

Pretty sure I’ve seen riding mowers on CL with ‘A/C Blows Ice Cold!’

I can get on-board with this theory.

Let’s get real for a minute here. Craigslist sellers don’t know what much of anything means. I think many of them just put phrases and words in the ads because they see them in other ads. Rust free, mint, pristine, ‘I know what I have’, rare car, manuel trans, good breaks, $25K worth of new parts, etc.

So . . . a chubby older white guy wearing a camouflage baseball hat and driving a shitty Chrycorp minivan in the Midwest of America.

“Heroic” is in quotes because it’s a quote.

FIAT-CHRYSLER SAVES FORD AND GM

Leave it to Fiat to perfect service lights.

How is it even an option when its “included”, do you have the choice of getting one with a bone dry tank.?

It’s a diesel JDM 4x4 weirdo van that’s in fantastic shape. This is playing tennis with the net down for me.

An engine oil filter is standard equipment?
