Exactly! This game is specifically designed to make holding territory almost impossible, and if you try and play that way it’ll come unglued. It’s about feints and lunges and bluffs, not simply moving armies around.

The problem is that you’re looking at it as a “territory control game.”  It’s not.  it’s a bluffing and negotiation game.

I also hated how instead of Jaime and brienne running into her, we got Jaime just being his usual self(unlike in the book) usual and having a ridiculous adventure in Dorne, and Brienne waiting outside winterfell for a whole season. Read more
