After needing the extra 20 minutes in the premiere to introduce the queens, this episode was where I really started to feel the extra time in a good way. We got a bunch of workroom drama, a full runway, even the mediocre lip-sync got some breathing room.

Well I think you might have missed the point. I love Alyssa Edwards and BenDeLaCreme and Jinkx Monsoon all these other queens that have taken advantage of the reality format. What I’M talking about is that I can see her jokes coming from a mile away because in being calculated she loses a lot of subtlety.

Blair St. Clair wants to play Fanny Brice on Broadway but I think she would be more suited to Billy Elliot.

Queens that are heavily rumored tend to make it on later seasons. Evah was heavily rumored and bummed that she didn’t get the call. I wouldn’t say it’s a pipe dream.

Let’s slow down with that Cracker/Katya comparison. One of the things I loved about Katya on Drag Race (that she lost a little bit with her Trixya ventures) is that she never seemed calculated or put-on. I can see the wheels turning in Cracker’s head in a way I never saw with Katya.

Oh come on, this was pretty fucking funny. There were a lot of solid jokes among the typical Stefon-isms. When he called Colin and Michael “Moonlight and LaLa Land” I was howling.
