I’m shocked that Austin’s airport is at 24. I haven’t been through it in years but they used to have great restaurants there. In fact I remember when they opened, some people would go there JUST for the restaurants because they were closer to the airport than the actual restaurant (pre-9/11 you could do that).

I’d bet that it went for that high because it was being sold for charity...
Granted there probably was some perceived added value with it looking like it was in better condition but I don’t think this is consistently repeatable for a private sale.

Ford & Chevy’s - at least the trucks - are typically used for work/as work vehicles. High annual mileage, and worked hard. It’s no wonder they don’t stick around for 15 years, especially since the depreciation on vehicles is 6 years I think and then they go and buy a new one.

It definitely makes sense that Leia had Jedi Training when she’s in space and “force pulls” her way to the ship in TLJ. I was wondering how the hell she did that if she DIDN’T have any training. So for me, it made sense AND fit in with events in TLJ.

With Beto’s fizzle out of a Presidential run he needs to stay out of politics for the time being. You can’t pivot from a failed Presidential run to Senate, especially when you already lose a Senate run.

I have no idea who this girl is or why she’s famous, or if her apology is sincere, but can we all stop acting like we didn’t do stupid shit when we were younger? You put too much faith in the government to use that money wisely.  And it would only work until that gravy train of money runs out, which given our current deficit would be fairly quickly. Again, it masks the problem, it doesn’t solve it.
