Didn’t Jalopnik recently argue that police should no longer perform traffic stops?

Isn’t the problem people blowing up shit and not the gender reveal? You didn’t do much at all to convince me that the parties (as in the original) are a problem, just the escalation — all of which could be a baby shower or announcement and have nothing to do with gender revelation.

Couldn’t this also be an indictment on the stupid cost of medicine in the US?  I mean the people that went to Sturgis deserve every bit of illness and vitriol they have coming, but $46,000 per case?  The whole thing is stupid, from beginning to end.

I wonder what the average person would do if they found themselves in a car surrounded by angry protestors punching their windshield and threatening them. Get out and surrender to the crowd? Sit there and wait until they flip your car over? Try to move the car forward through the crowd slowly? Or slam the gas?

Why in the world would a poor-ish person be in the market for a new car in the first place? You want cheap cars? Craigslist is a veritable gold mine. You want cheaper cars? Check the used car lots. You want cheapish cars? Go peruse the back of a dealer lot.

I feel for you, it sucks for sure for many many people like you employed in those areas.

So, next Erin Marquis is going to do an article about the only four cars we need?

Thank you. Was about to post the same thing. The misinformation on this site has been terrible lately. I’ll further add that a decent percentage of recreational boats with AIS only have the receiver portion to see other traffic, not the transmitter to broadcast their AIS info. This trend started when AIS receivers

Build that dam! Build that dam!

Chopped cars are stupid and ruin the car by destroying visibility and messing up the lines the designer intended. Fight me.

Bradley don't need no instructions from the plebes on how to rock!

I won’t spoil the story for you

1st: Chemtrails, huh? ::eyeroll::

I used to listen to NPR for CarTalk, but since that ended it seems like they just operate on 20 minute loops, so even if I remember to turn the radio on, I can’t listen too long.

Now playing

Heres the head honcho of LeMons “explaining” the $500 rule.

Unpopular opinion but the whole “Lemons is $500" thing is bullshit. Here we have a “$360" car which includes a turbocharger worth 100 times that (probably? Maybe only 10 times? Who knows?).

Generally I agree with the sentiment, don’t willingly endanger yourself or others. I keep going back to the thought though: how long have the protests been going on? And what has changed? Property is replaceable, people aren’t. Change is a challenge.

The remaining 36 were unclear, especially when drivers fear for their lives due more to racism than any real risk to their safety. Even when the case seems pretty clear cut, charges might not be forth coming, like this ramming attack in New York which resulted in a protester being dragged for a block, but no charges

I often find the protests that are most effective are the ones that are easily ignored because they do not inconvenience anyone.

I support BLM. Stay out of the fucking street. Please.
