I never understood why she and Roy took at break at the end of season 2, aside from the writers lazily trying to force conflict into a relationship that was one of the best parts of that season. They both just, “got busy” and didn’t go away on holiday.

Yeah, I understand what they are getting at with trying to have Keely mirror what’s happened to Ted. But that would have been perfectly fine to save for the inevitable spin-off series. There were more for Keely to do within the confines of the club / inner circle. If the rumours of reduced Juno Temple availability for

I think the idea is the standard Shiv thing where she thought she was a genius but was only actually adequate. She gave Gil some decent advice for tussling with her father, but he only REALLY hired her for that/leverage on Logan, and it’s noted that her only actual victory was getting a liberal elected in NYC, which

How could you miss the biggest hanging threads of the show: Hirsh v. Greenpeace and the status of Waystar RoyCo’s European Animation division!

I mean they still “could” - they won’t, but they definitely still could. BTW Shiv coming in and saying hey why don’t you guys go back and do The Hundred was one of the funniest lines of the episode.

It is interesting that Connor was in that video of Logan relaxing with old employees/sort of friends. And Connor even roasted him a bit with the teapot song, calling back to the first episode this season. Logan didn’t respect him and didn’t see him as a potential rival or threat like the other kids, which in a

I will forever wonder if maybe ending the series now was partly story related and partly just because they were all getting exhausted by Strong.

As someone who has loved Tom from the very first episode, this all made me very happy. As someone also well aware that Tom is a pretty awful person, this made me extremely happy.

L to the OG, what a fucking show, what an ending. Easily one of the best pieces of television ever made. I can’t wait to revisit it, with the ending in mind, and see how it all pulls together.

Ended about the only way it could. Still had some great bangers.

As far as I know, Embracer isn’t involved in development of the LotR MMO. They’re just licensing the IP to Amazon so Amazon can make it. I doubt this canceled deal will have any impact on that.

like genuinely you’re right — in this case i decided to just add a reminder of the allegations rather than detail them because this particular article isn’t about Miller at all, and is barely about the film they’re in. In future articles I will be more clear.

John Constantine’s in this?

the fact that they didn’t have to be recast for live action is making me so so so so happy.

It’s fascinating watching/reading the comments by people who just love this show for what it is, regardless of how it does it. I respect that, and honestly, envy their ability to just watch a movie or TV show and otherwise not care about the construction of it. But that’s not me, or you, or clearly a lot of people

Yeah, and that’s part of what annoys me about all the people who complain about the show’s critics and personally attack them. It’s not hard to see how the stories the show wanted to tell could have worked with a little more effort and care. I’ve seen several great suggestions just in the comments on this recap. And

I have high hopes for “Best in Doh!” the Simpsons character impersonator competition, plus if you win ,they can threaten to replace the main cast with you for a tenth of their pay check!*

I’m looking forward to “Best in Whoa”, the competitive Joey Lawrence impersonation show.

Damn. I thought Best in Blow was...

More like you don’t understand what the Nona facility was for. Maybe google a bit, it has nothing to do with tourism.
