Very minor to the whole enormity of Succession... but I really am very happy that Sledge Hammer is finally getting such a fantastic supporting role in something.

well to me the best line of that was ‘we’re calling kerry a taxi to the subway so she can go home to her little apartment’. ouch!
Frank just openly laughing when Greg suggested he might be Logan’s number two pick for CEO was great. I feel like the Egg’s days of being taken even nominally seriously are numbered.
Give the Emmy to whoever managed to create a perfectly ambiguous line that could easily be read as an underline or a cross-out.
I mean, isn’t the entire point of Kendall’s arc that he postures as a leader but actually doesn’t have the actual ability?
I got Sledge Hammer complete series on DVD from a library sale for $2 about 5 years ago. Until then, I thought I had only dreamed that it was on TV. Hilarious.
I dunno about unpopular, but it does kind of feel like you’ve maybe missed the point a little. It’s been repeatedly made clear that, for all their pretensions otherwise, not one of Logan’s children is capable of following in his footsteps.
It was so good... Watched it faithfully back in the 80s. His role in Burn After Reading is minimal but truly perfection...
For those too young to remember, try to check out the show “Sledge Hammer” some time. That’s where I know David Rasche originally...kind of like “Police Squad!” crossed with “Dirty Harry”
“Oh he’s heavily fucking delayed”
Yeah, Succession’s are the only ones I’ve ever found interesting. The White Lotus’s were “let’s point out incredibly obvious subtext...or even just text”
I’ve had my issues with these from House of the Dragon (where they just repeat what we just saw) or The Last of Us (where they’re just patting themselves on the back), but Succession’s are great because they actually go into the process, which is what I like hearing.
Fake News. Zombie Logan shall return in the finale and eat his kids’ brains!
by about 19 minutes into the ep i was losing it a bit thinking “guys, you gotta go get Conner, go get your brother”
There was so much to take in with this episode.
Not since Buffy’s The Body have I seen such a great death in the family episode. This was real good stuff.
It wasn’t just the Grindr mention in s2. As someone pointed out on reddit, in season 1 episode 3, during the scene where Roy goes to confront Jaime at the club, you can briefly see Colin chatting up a guy. I’m sure there are other blink and you’ll miss it moments that we’ve, well, missed. This show seems to have long…
My formative D&D days were full of Rush and Blue Öyster Cult, as accurately described in SLC Punk!
After two decades of ponderous fantasy franchises, I think audiences are ready for a fun, breezy fantasy movie that doesn’t try too hard to be epic. I know I’m looking forward to it.
