The first couple of seasons of Alias were a lot of fun.

My working theory is that half of JJ’s success is because he makes a damn fine trailer.
There has been a real trend lately of casting people WAY out of age for roles as if people won’t know (or care). They do know and they do care.
I was listening to Scott Galloway, who is very anti-Tiktok and I remember him saying, “What if the Chinese just turn the knob that slips in an extra 5% of Anti-capitalism/anti-democracy tiktoks into young Adults feeds? No one knows, but the effect is profound.”
<whispers> They are all just trying to get you onto their Onlyfans. Pay no real attention.
That bod!
It’s nothing like working on a fishing boat or oil rig. You can do everything right on a fishing boat and oil rig and you are still at a fair amount of risk in bad weather. A lineman has to do two solidly stupid things at the same time to be at any risk. The system has redundant safety built into it.
There are 10 years between season 2 and 3?!?! That makes very little sense with the Picard / Romulan girlfriend conversation at the start of episode 1. But...whatever!
The Season 2 birth is an interesting idea, but who secretly raised the kid for 10+ years between Season 3 and the end of Nemesis? It’s equally bad, but I think we have to believe Jack was conceived after Nemesis and is actually 20.
Does it bother anyone else that he changes his decision about saving this persons life (at the risk of the entire crew) based solely on the fact that it is his son?
I just have to chime in here and say C3po is the greatest cock blocker of all time.
The content seems very problematic, but as a 20+ year game engineer the lighting is fantastic. You might want to thank Unreal for that (I’m assuming it’s an Unreal game, but there is still a ton of work to get the lighting to look that good).
Yes, exactly, those are not dumb fans. The SNW fans instinctively get Trek better then any writers that have been writing the show since the first episode of Discovery (Although Prodigy is a damn fine kids adaption of Trek).
That is interesting, but who watched to kid for the 5 years she was back on the ship. I think they are just going to let slide the fact that Jack is obviously in his mid-twenties when he should be 20 (unless they go with when we say it’s been twenty years, we really mean it’s been 25).
As terrible as this is, a clone or some other ridiculousness would be even worse. I’m assuming “haven’t seen her in 20 years” really means more like 25 and that he was basically conceived right when she left and that is why she left.
Oh my god, for the final time: Kirk knew about David! A MUCH more believable and mature scenario than this one.
Stop letting DUMB fans run franchises.
Obviously, the universal translator knew he was Picard’s son, so...
Very challenging to decide which show is worse. I’ll call it a draw.
