There are 10 years between season 2 and 3?!?! That makes very little sense with the Picard / Romulan girlfriend conversation at the start of episode 1. But...whatever!

The Season 2 birth is an interesting idea, but who secretly raised the kid for 10+ years between Season 3 and the end of Nemesis? It’s equally bad, but I think we have to believe Jack was conceived after Nemesis and is actually 20.

Does it bother anyone else that he changes his decision about saving this persons life (at the risk of the entire crew) based solely on the fact that it is his son?

That is interesting, but who watched to kid for the 5 years she was back on the ship. I think they are just going to let slide the fact that Jack is obviously in his mid-twenties when he should be 20 (unless they go with when we say it’s been twenty years, we really mean it’s been 25).

As terrible as this is, a clone or some other ridiculousness would be even worse.  I’m assuming “haven’t seen her in 20 years” really means more like 25 and that he was basically conceived right when she left and that is why she left.

Oh my god, for the final time: Kirk knew about David! A MUCH more believable and mature scenario than this one.
