You can easily get a trilogy of movies out of Brainiac AND introduce Supergirl. I mean, what more could you want from a villain? I can understand them not being able to do it in the Reeve era, but Man of Steel the audience would have totally been up for a cosmic Superman dealing with Brainiac.

He’s no Terence Stamp:

The unique set of merger conditions that would let them completely write off the movie are over, so they can’t Batgirl it and get to write off the production cost.

Rocket may retire, by I see him and Groot as 100% certain to come back in future marvel movies. Their voices can easily be replaced if necessary, but I think each movie takes Bradley Cooper about two weeks of work (from seeing script to finishing recording) and not leaving the house, so why not do it forever?

But what if they are nazi-ish?

I can tell you from inside that AI is going to replace all but the very very high end of voice acting in the next 5ish years.  In games it’s going to be for a lot of reasons besides just costs (we’ve been holding back on a lot of story flexibility we could easily add if it weren’t for voice - and everyone is already

I’m of the opinion that if the bottom corner of the video says “This is a deep fake” there is nothing you can or should be able to do about it. Otherwise it does go all the way up to your Trump / McConnel example, and I am not sure if I want to let people sue on such an open field.

The show is an absolute rights nightmare. Peacock has rights for some episodes, Paramount for others, MTV has a banner before the episodes, when you set your DVR to record it, you’re recording it off Comedy Central!

It’s almost like everyone thought it would be a huge failure and then it turned into an unbelievable

I’ll just say this once: There are plenty of better places to work today desperate to hire you. The GameStop employees could probably take the whole chain down if they all quit and went and worked at the Target next door. For more pay. With better hours. With more supportive management. With less chance of being

Did Wen die (she did in the book)? In the book they never resolve if the apocalypse was true or not, I’m guessing the ol’ Shamalamadingdong couldn’t resist making the apocalypses true.

Ezra miller is persona non-grata the second the PR junket is done. Until then, the word from on high is to humor him.

Wow. I cannot tell you how sad and bad it is for the industry that 343 isn’t making it’s own engine anymore. Real end of an era.

It’s cute you think any of these people are actually friends with each other.

Waller was a much better character in the DCAU, but maybe they can figure out a way to make her more interesting if they focus on her more.  (I still remember audibly gasping when she she called Batman Bruce when they first met, perfect power play).

I think it’s all downside for Reeves.  If his batman is better, that’s just expected.  If it’s worse, he’s going to look really bad.

Can you fit The Authority into a movie though?  Seems like a concept that needs a show.

Since this is a cavalcade (don’t get to use that word often!) of past villains’, my theory is now that it’s Tom Riker in the beginning of the trailer. I’m putting my chit down!

I disagree. I see a million people that are brutal to the business practices of the pharmaceutical companies and very pro-vax. He could, IF HE WANTED, fix this with a one short tweet (I wrote it above): “I am very pro-vaccine - I believe Pfizer makes monstrous profits that hurt people” It’s not very nuanced.

Being anti-vax is unforgivable in my view. It is effectively anti-modernity and shows you really do not want to be part of our culture. It also guarantees a huge level of hypocrisy, since invariably you completely depend the advantages that modern life gives you (like being able to post your idiotic ideas on the World

He has had plenty of time to respond. “I am very pro-vaccine - I believe Pfizer makes monstrous profits that hurts people”  There, done.
