JJ had a plan (a bad one) but then Rian threw it all out (and replaced it with his bad one). And then JJ threw his out. I’d love to hear the shit the two of them must have talked about each other to the studio heads at Disney.

I am convinced that Sony has some way of buying tickets to their own movies to pump up these numbers.

Unfortunately, most the people wasting their money on GameStop stock don’t have much more money they GameStop employees.

I’ve got to admit Strange New World is just killing it.  I’m starting to let myself get excited!

Just FYI, this houseboat is one of the rentals in “The World’s Most Amazing Vacation Rentals” show on Netflix (Season 1, episode 3). It’s fun to take a tour.

And BTW after watching it, you will definitely be “team boat.”

Total number of registered cars in California: 14.2 Million

Vigilante is weird because he is a laughable character created at the nadir of the comics industry.  So, of course, you would make him a complete joke for a show that includes him.

Every one of these stars (with exception of Zoe Saldana and Chris Pine) are less famous/bankable/prestigious then they were when the last film was shot. If they offer them the same money as the last movie, rationally they should all accept.

The whole Burn made no sense for people that understood the cannon tech of Star Trek. For example, Romulans don’t use dilithium.  Dilithium isn’t even what let’s ships go into warp, it’s just a way to allow matter/anti-matter reactions to work efficiently.

Ironically, flying cars are easier to automate than ground cars.  Particularly if they are VTOL.

We’re going to have a working system in a lab by the end of the decade. Another 5 years to make a prototype plant, and then 20-30 years to build out around the world. There are some teams working on smaller reactors (cargo container size to even washing machine size). If one of them manage to figure it out (I have

I firmly believe the season finally of Avatar season 2 is some of the very best tv ever made.

I think part of what makes Zuko so effective is that it is also completely established that his father is not redeemable. Often times when a villain is redeemed it is against some force of nature, which pushes this narrative that everyone can be redeemed. It makes the redemption story that much more powerful.

Its also

It’s a great story and could make a great movie/show, but the power of the ending deeply relies on it being a game. So unfortunately you’ll just never an ending as effective as the game because you are already watching it from an outsider perspective.

This is making me want to play it again!

I am shocked.  I thought they banned lead shot decades ago for this exact reason.

Unfortunately, after watching the Tinder Swindler, I’m pretty sure they will find a way to profit off of it.

Yeah, that’s exactly my point.

The core of the issue is that there is simply so much good media that there is almost no common base of viewed experiences anymore. I won’t make a value judgment if that is good or bad, but there just did not used to be that many choices with how to spend your entertainment time. So when the Oscars rolled around 20-30

Yes, but my question is, could this ever be cheap enough to be a threat to cable/g5 systems, or is this always going to be so expensive that it only makes sense for people in isolated areas.

I love to read an impartial analysis of the theoretical minimal cost of the system if they had, say, 100 million users. Is it expensive because of ramp-up, or is it just an expensive method that lets you be anywhere on the globe.
