This is interesting financially as well.  Part of why Discovery survived the past few years was because Netflix paid so much money for the show that it completely paid for production.  Now it needs to make enough money to be financially viable.

I know it’s a minority opinion, but I actually think Foundation’s Edge is an excellent part of the Foundation series. Everything after that (including the prequels)...not so much.

I’ve actually tried to get my teenage boys to watch a lot of old movies and tv. Almost none of it holds up. Only the very very best. I will say, as a point of reference, the single best 80's movie that held their attention was The Thing.

I haven’t read the comic, but the show is just filled with lazy lazy writing.  It simply did not deserve to get renewed.
