Cheney would have been a hell of a President (and don’t think for a second he wasn’t the President), if he had just been on our side. What a competent g.d. bastard. It’s just too bad he was in it for himself.

If that’s the case, then they need to be supervised. This isn’t hard.
Yes, I believe the author of the article is confused about what happens in the book.
When Ringo actually did them. There are a ton of rumors that Lennon rerecorded a lot of his stuff at night after the rest of the band had gone home. Jones’ story seems to add more to that rumor.
This really isn’t that controversial, there have been stories for years of people redoing Ringo’s work while he was out of the studio or at night (which is the story I remember hearing).
Hmmm, I’m not sure. They definitely put a ton of foundation on her (I assume that an attempt to cover it up). Talk about an embarrassing question to ask at a convention!
I don’t care how attractive she is, but I feel like skin hygiene is a legit thing for anyone, especially an actor!
That’s what I meant, I should have done a quick google before submitting. Thanks!
Am I a bad person because I find her terrible skin distracting? She’s been on the payroll for a year at this point, couldn’t she use some pro-active or something? I’ve never seen and actor (male or female) with such bad skin on a show (sure people have the occasional zit on an episode, but my god). I don’t care about…
This show is already pulling Star Trek into the “Small Universe” trope very very hard. Please no more connections! A big universe with people NOT connected is a strength, it makes it a much more believable, living and diverse place.
Can you imagine what would have happened if there had even been a hint that the Patriots won because of a iffy call!?! The NFL is already having issues, and a huge number of people have decided they hate the Patriots and the NFL carries their water.
I don’t know, I feel like the writers went to sufficient lengths to show how big a deal that was for Spock.
But Georgiou explicitly says that their ship is no match for the Klingon ship. Even if they had fired it would have done nothing but get them destroyed quicker. They only damage the ship in the end by putting a bomb in with the Klingon dead (There’s some good Federation morals for you!).
Either Burnham’s plan was…
I totally agree, the network needs to be destroyed, or it’s poor writing.
If Georgiou had betrayed Star Trek principles the way Burnham wanted there’d be no war, but a dirty seed would have been sown.
And don’t you forget, the entire point of the Vulcans is that they are suppose to be logical and calm almost to a fault. Sarek’s mind melding of Saru screamed “impulsive action.” That’s not good Vulcan characterization.
I really like the idea of the Federation as a homogenizing force (almost unintentionally), that cultures might have legitimate reason to be threaten by. The best aspects of the Borg is the fact that we are more like them than we like to admit. See Quark’s Root Beer speech (one of the best bits of commentary on our…
It was a weak attempt to reconcile this with Cannon.
I actually think that’s one of the most interesting points to explore in the Mirror universe: Are they inherently evil, or is it their situation that makes them evil. Is the terrain empire there because of some kind of social self-reinforcing effect, or is it something more fundamental. Lost opportunity there writers.
Kirk becomes captain of the Enterprise at least 5 years earlier in the Kelvin timeline. He might already be captain at this point if they are in the Kelvin timeline.
