A well managed company would have been using the past few years to build other products to continue making income even if the Marvel license went away. Their tech could easily be used to make a raft of other games in other genres and with other licenses.

Ding ding ding. Gazillion really should have planned for this to happen. Disney didn’t just pull the license out of the blue. I’m sure all parties knew about the possibility (if not the certainty) of the license ending for at least a year.
