Funny - I have 401k matching, paid holidays, paid vacation, health benefits and do NOT work for a union.  Never have.  I wouldn’t be where I am today if I was a union worker, as seniority is taken over hard work, hustling, or performing beyond your peers.

Tesla gives stock options.  There’s a lot of low level employees who are very rich.  That’s why they voted against a union.

Supporting unions is a good thing, but in politics one needs to compartmentalize. None of the high tech companies are unionized neither. Does that mean Biden can never talk to any of those companies now?

The youtube channel Out Of SPec Motoring has done a ton of long road trips like that, and he records his experience in doing so. Might be worth a gander for you and your brother

Wow. Looks like the CCP trolls are on Jalopnik now too. And you guys seem to operate via the same exact script, which is to both deny, try to downgrade and deflect. We aren’t fucking talking about what happened in Afghanistan are we? No. We’re talking about the GENOCIDE that is happening in China.

So let me give you

but the creative application of existing laws”

Haha, I mean, its still just a car driving on highways. What did you expect? Most vehicles you can barely hear the engine while cruising anyway, which would be only difference while driving normally. Sure they have electricity instead of gas, but they are effectively the same thing as before.

EV’s may not be keeping pace, but I sold a 2021 Model S Long Range (pre-refresh) for $4000 MORE than the MSRP of he car, after 6 months of ownership. With 12,000 miles on it.

Take this with a grain of salt since I work for Ford (though I do call Ford out when crap I don’t like happens. RIP Focus ST), but I kinda like the interior of the Mach E. I haven’t driven in it yet. I was only able to get seat time down in our design benchmark center and prototype plants. But I liked what I saw. I’m

For now anyway.... sure seems like the GOP definitely toyed with the idea in 2016-2020 and are pretty happy to go that direction if allowed. Let’s see what happens in 2024...

China is also committing mass genocide in the Xinjiang province against Uighur Muslims with as many as two million being held in camps and detention centers, their children separated and put into schools to eradicate their language and culture, with many of their parents being forced to pick cotton.

1st Gear: A “pledge” is really more about the tools he has. The US can’t really mandate what private manufacturers do, per se, but can alter the market in certain ways through the federal government’s buying powers, for example, or through regulation.

But of course you have to weigh this against the overall results.

The thing is, adding charging infrastructure is relatively easy. Most large buildings already have 3-phase power run to them for a level 3 charger, and every residential building has at least the capacity to be wired for level 2 chargers at the parking spaces. They may cost a couple grand a pop, but that’s around 5%

Nobody’s talking about killing them, buddy. Just refusing to allow them in spaces where they might harm other people.

Oh, what a tragedy, someone might require you to not kill your neighbors through negligence. However will you survive?

“You Think China Does “Pledges?”

So roughly as far as the average life span of an Alfa transmission.

4th Gear: We need to stop playing with the anti-vaccine people. You don’t want to get vaccinated? You’re not welcome in public, government buildings, or workplaces. We cannot tolerate plague rats.

I like Google’s approach - you can choose not to be vaccinated, you just don’t work here anymore.

Hi, Folks! Mod Motor Guy, the shop owner checking in again!

Dealership is in the wrong. Allow me to explain my shop’s insurance policy, and you will soon see....

1. General liability - this is EXACTLY as it sounds. If I am out driving your car for whatever reason, be it a test drive, a delivery, or anything general
