I think the biggest issue (by far) is how fast things are moving in this season. The battle with the night king should have probably played out most of this season with the final confrontation with Cersei playing out in to next season. Instead we ended up with just 3 episodes each dedicated to the what should have

I think what the OP is saying is that if these people fail miserably then critics, like yourself, will be proven right and they won’t be able to continue selecting people this way.

I viewed her conversations with Jon as the clearest evidence that she has to resign herself to the path of tyranny. She says to him, I think on multiple occasions, that “your people love you, not me” and the whole bit about her begging him to keep the truth to himself is explicitly about what she foresees happening

It appears that she got control of the taser and attempted to use it to incapacitated the officer. In a context where police officers are carrying lethal weapons they are obligated to use whatever force is necessary (up to lethal force) to prevent loss of control of a lethal weapon.

Few notes for people that are

It isn’t about “some amount of fear”... it’s about being feared enough... not because of the transient tools she can bring to bear... but because of who she is.

*shrug* Opinion noted. Nothing you say here really adds to what has already been said in other articles on this site.

No apparent reason?!

To be entirely fair, that is a cultural distinction that is brought up in the show multiple times. Given the nature of the Targaryan powers (inherited) it’s actually kind of understandable that they play a little loose with this particular moral imperative. It’s not as though she raised him or grew up with him, at

The dragon bit was idiotic and the episode felt unearned and rushed... but this is pretty much the first moment in which she had a decision like this to make where she didn’t have a trusted adviser at her side to talk her out of her initial, brutal, megalomaniacal plan.

You are forgetting that the population and the market ratio for gaming has grown right along with the increases in cost. They can stand to make a lot less profit on each sale when they are selling so many more copies of games (a benefit of electronic commodities).

You may even believe that, but it’s an awfully easy thing to proclaim anonymously on the internet.

That is what the market currently bears based on current production costs (and a bunch of other variables). If production costs increase across the industry then the market may shift enough to bear either more expensive or much lower quality games.

So long as they get made (keeping these people employed) and the companies don’t just move on to places where they don’t have to worry quite so much about unions.

Nonsense.

Some men hate women. Some women hate men. Some men hate men. Some women hate women.

Ostensibly, many of these people have families to support and may be living check to check (like most Americans).
