I one time refused to go on a second date with a girl because I found out at the end of the first date that she drove a Honda CR-V, and I couldn’t bring myself to date a girl who drove the automotive equivalent of sweat pants.

When I was in my early 20's, just out of college, I drove a then, 6-year-old Ford Escort. It wasn’t a fancy car, but it was in nearly perfect condition and it was far better than the $500 beaters I had been driving in High School and College.

When I was 16, my parents very graciously gave me their 12 year old Volvo 245. It was light blue with a dark blue interior with vinyl seats and a banging stereo (my dad is an audiophile). It had the Virgo wheels with really nice Michelin tires. This was the car I grew up in, so I was naturally in love with it.
