The Volvo OSD discount is 8%-10% of MSRP based on materials I was looking at last year when I was considering it.

Neutral: Wanted a wagon. The wagons I wanted either didn’t have the features I wanted (CPO Volvos), were too small (Golf Sportwagen, 3-Series) or too expensive (C and E-Classes).

Still sad the TourX never touched Canadian shores. It would have been a sure contender during my last purchase cycle. Alas.

I drove an ‘88 Plymouth Reliant K with the bucket seats and a 5 speed from about 2004-2008. Was my first car, a hand me down from my old man, but I drove it everywhere. That plastic “wood” accents, the rubber boot on the shifter, roll-down windows. Oh hell yeah. That was living.

I cross shopped the CX-5 against CPO BMW x3/x5, Audi Q5, and some other mid-size-ish SUV’s and CUV’s (JGC, Ford Edge, 3-series wagon, Golf wagen)

Clearly Volvo was ahead of it’s time when they Cross-Countried the S60

This is a wagon.

There’s an RS5 Sportback on my street in this very same colour. I love it. Looks amazing in person.

Oddly in to this: also, The End of Heartache record still goes hard.

The Mazda does have an available turbo and I can tell you it’s a hoot. With all that torquey goodness on tap (310ft/lbs) you can feel the twist. Best SUV i drove in my search

Yeah, I’m going to see some of those positive Blazer reviews because I haven’t come across a-one.

The Telluride looks better.

I really wanted the chance to try this out before I purchased my CX-5 but boneheads at the General didn’t think it would sell in Canada and didn’t offer it here. Guess they didn’t want any of the Outback/Alltrack/Sportwagen/3Wagen/CWagen/Allroad/V60/90/CC business...

I found the backseat in the previous 3 wagon i test drove wanting. Hopefully they stretched that out a bit, on the off chance this ever actually makes it to Canada. With the C and E class wagons (including the AMG variants!) on our shores, V/VCC 60/90 twins and a few others, there’s no reason not too. I see almost a 3

The Telluride looks better IMO - I saw one last weekend in the flesh (in that lovely green colour they have) and it looked full XC-90 for about half the cost.

Y’all ever had a Pep n’ Ched? It’s a 10-inch pepperoni stick packaged together with 10-inch cheese stick. You eat them together, taking a bite of each. Goddamn food of kings.

I have the same Turbo engine in the CX-5 which is lighter and smaller and I co-sign, it’s a great mill

I like the 4 Gran Coupe and the 6 as well *shrug*

“..have the choice between the 148 horsepower 2.0-liter or the 168 horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder. Both engines are paired to a CVT”

Or it’s more well-heeled cousin:
