How about a nice 508 Estate?

Saw one in the flesh today - didn’t mind it, but I don’t love the droopy face it seems to have borrowed from the Escape and Ecosport. I would have preferred a more upright grill.

So you’re saying the Big 3 are in for a bad time?

Not surprised. Rural Quebecois are among the most racist people in Canada. It’s one of the few things they and people from the prairies have in common.

So what did you find? And where can I get one?

Does there exist a fast, sharp handling crossover that is around $40K tho? I’d prefer a fast, sharp handling wagon, but you know, North America.

Yes, but when you read headlines like this:

Really? How is that possible? Golf’s are already only like 6 feet long.

Are CR readers apt to add sketchy tunes to their cars? Seems unlikely.

Going through this right now - I created an NCAA ‘March Madness’ style bracket complete with rankings to compare like vehicles, factoring in head to head specs, reviews and physical test drives. I have separate conferences for Sedans, SUV’s and Crossovers, Wagons and Hatchbacks.

I hear that - it feel like Subaru puts the bare minimum because they think they can skate on the name. You forgot to mention how fucking awful and thin the paint is, too.

Arguably entry level luxury car buyers need this technology the most. Some of the worst drivers I’ve ever seen are behind the wheel of a MB CLA.

I can 100% see that. My back seat rattles like hell. Does yours have that fun bit where after it turns over it revs up to 4,000RPM quickly for no reason?

You and me both, buddy. My favorite is not being able to hold a decent conversation while traveling above 40MPH

I bought a 2012 Impreza - first year after a redesign - wouldn’t do that again. Apparently they forgot to include any kind of sound-deadening that year.

In Canada you can’t get in this car for much under $60K. Right now the local dealer is blowing out the 2018's for around $40K. That’s a big jump.

I want one of these so bad, but alas Volvo has priced themselves out of my reach.

12 year old me used to order these things from manufacturers all the time. Little did they know I wouldn’t purchase a new car for at least 15 years.

I have an Impreza. I liked it at first, but then i drove other cars (after the fact, regrettably.)

This actually doesn’t look to bad, materials look to be of decent quality. Is Star Link still a piece of unusable garbage? I sat in a new Outback last month and it was useless.
