“I’m not going to bother looking up 0 to 60 times because the car’s engineers are probably still counting.”

Didn’t Toyota make a Solara which was basically in-between the Lexus coupe and the Camry coupe? That could work.

Holy shit - I was pretty dead-set on the new Regal Sportback, but now I can get a sportback WITH a stick?

The Ford Edge is about the same size and also only has 2 rows, and is comparable to the GC but it’s definitely more crossover than SUV.

I bet if you compare the newest gen CR-V with the latest Toureg they wouldn’t be that much different in size - the CR-V has become waaaayyy bloated with the latest re-design.

So VW killed the only SUV left in it’s line-up that had any kind of power or personality for North America?

Nope, the more sedan-like version with a hatch - GS is all but confirmed to have a 310HP NA V6 and cargo capacity that matches small/mid-size SUV’s and most wagons.

Can’t get one in Canada and with the exchange currently it’s prohibitively expensive to import one.

My cousin maintains he never should have gotten rid of his ‘99 Intrigue - says his current Optima doesn’t hold a candle, but then again he’s not really a car guy..

Sweet, lots of salvage title A8's to be had.

My fucking Impreza does this too - maybe it’s a Subaru thing, because I’ve never experienced it in any other car.

What a rare, majestic sight in nature: a crossover actually being driven off-road.

This is the correct take.

How is that even safe? I feel like if you weren’t so jammed in there, a rear-end collision would snap your spine.

I kickstarted this - got a keychain and a sticker for my pledge.

Insignia from both brands:

The Sportback is going to be available in green apparently, and an additional blue as well.

Check the reviews of the Opel/Vauxhaul versions - they’re the same damn car. Most say interior is quite nice and I’m sure it’ll get even more lux on account of it being a Buick.

That’s what the Sportback GS is rumoured to be getting - a good old 3.6L NA V6.

True but the V60 hasn’t had a refresh since 2010 or so and is getting one next year. Should pretty much look like truncated V90.
