I choose to believe she just doesn't like to because it doesn't fit her fighting style. Pearl is all about precision and skill. Peridot mentioned that shapeshifting is inefficient energywise, meaning Pearl would probably not make use of it regularly. Even Garnet only rarely does her stretchy arm trick.

Their spines are far too aligned for a proper JoJo pose.

I've been waiting for this episode ever since "Catch and Release". My favorite character finally getting to interact with the newest members of the team? This episode couldn't have been more made for me if Rebecca Sugar herself personally delivered a print to my house.

I was just thinking that the only way this episode could be improved was if they shanghai'd Jamie to act as Pearl.

True, but they learned it from Steven, same as Peridot.

Yeah, I just had to get the timing of their bubbling straight in my head. I've been operating under the assumption that only Crystal Gems are capable of bubbling, so seeing that Pink Diamond could do it too forced me to reconsider.

She was the only one though, as Blue Diamond was capable of understanding Greg perfectly well. I took it as a joke that Holly Blue refused to even listen to anyone whom she considered her inferior.

The bubbles have initially threw me, as it sounds like Pink Diamond herself made all the bubbles. I assume as soon as Rose Quartz went rogue, they immediately discontinued the entire RQ line, but Pink Diamond insisted on bubbling them instead of outright destroying them. And for some reason the other Homeworld Gems

More like the ancient people of earth were introduced to a common language by outside forces that stuck around once they made contact with other societies that also knew that language. A reverse Tower of Babel, if you will.

Yellow Diamond and Marvin the Martian have strikingly similar attitudes towards Earth.

Greg's gonna add a little guitar, to make it easy to move your feet.

For the language bit, it could be easily explained that humans are actually speaking Gem language, learned during the rebellion.

As good as "What's the Use of Feeling (Blue)" was, I'm still holding out hope for a show stopping villain song on par with "Be Prepared" or "Hellfire".

That may be all we end up getting, much like with Stakes.

Not your fault, it was advertised about as well as the miniseries itself.

Few things have made me laugh harder than an early text-to-speech program trying to pronounce "Georgia".

The review went up on Monday, though I have yet to read it since I don't want to be spoiled on anything. You can find it here.

Regular Show also went to that particular well for one of their Halloween specials.

I'm just glad neither one took inspiration from Zardoz.

I can hear the voice and everything, and it's sweet music to my ears.
