After seeing how angry/broken up she was in "Keeping it Together" and "Cry For Help", I just felt Peridot's casual mention of these topics would warrant at least a growl of frustration or veiled threat. Something more than her usual stoicism.

I wouldn't be surprised if her lack of knowledge outside of research and reports was not her choice. Keeping strict control of the information Gems are exposed to is a good way to curb future rebellions.
Fanart Alert Level has been upgraded to "Beyond the visible spectrum".
An interesting thought, but I personally don't see that coming to fruition. Amethyst has always regarded her origin as a source of deep shame. I doubt Peridot's opinion is going to change that to pride, much less thinking she should suddenly usurp command from Garnet.
I personally can't wait. If there's one thing about these past few episodes that struck me as off, it's Garnet's blase attitude towards Peridot's casual mention of Fusionsteins and Homeworld's general views on fusion. As one of the few things that gets under her skin, I would have liked to see her more vocal in her…
*Baby Marceline voice* "I'm hurting you because I love you."
To be fair, Sumia's hatred of cows is only referenced once in-game. Garnet's focus on getting rid of cows just reminded me of it: hilarious in its inexplicability.
Just like Sumia, Garnet can't stand cows.
The actual highlight of the Week of Sardonyx for me was Amethyst's character moments. From offering genuine comfort to Pearl to rekindling dormant human friendships, she's really been growing as of late.
Rest assured, no force in heaven or Earth will stop them.
Make it DEFCON 2! The lower the number, the higher the alert level.
Seems like Pearl got her way after all.
Or the theme song to Cheers.
As much as I liked it, I can't fault people for their opinions on season 6. A few of those episodes felt like you needed a team of people to analyze them properly. That can be fun in moderation, but I want to see them balance that with more of the cast just horsing around like in "Pajama War" or "Time Sandwich".
Very excited to for this miniseries and the return of Adventure Time in general. I knew Rebecca Sugar had penned a song for it, but I only recently learned she was voicing Marcie's mom. I really enjoyed the past season for the most part, but dialing back on the heady philosophizing wouldn't hurt. Now if only we…
She's gotta kill the Vampire King somehow.
Would you settle for Harlan Globetrotters?
I saw that! But it wouldn't be the first time this show has dealt in Kenobi-esque half-truths to preserve the mystery.
TTG's Breakfast Club parody episode is probably a more effective anti-bullying message than said campaign. Robin was obsessed with keeping everyone in their separate cliques while the rest of the Titans just wanted to expand their horizons at school. But yeah, SU and Clarence are practically shoo-ins for this kind…
The Sardonyx arc was pretty taxing for Pearl fans like myself. I'm thrilled to see that hard-won character growth stuck.
