And Lapis is a neverending font of tears.
Be it for humor or drama, I just don't want Pearl's love for Rose to overshadow the rest of her personality. Hopefully the focus we saw this week is just the creators' way of hammering the point home for that subset of fans who refused to see their relationship as anything but platonic.
I'd actually forgotten that the Crystal Gems didn't know Malachite's name.
I think "Marble Madness" had a somewhat more conclusive ending than "Keeping it Together". In "Marble Madness" the Crystal Gems first revealed their presence to the Homeworld, and that Peridot wasn't going to be a foe that Steven could win over easily. "Keeping it Together" showed us that the Homeworld is up to some…
That's the case for corrupted Gems (and now Frankengems as well), but I don't think we've seen its effect on a Gem with a full consciousness before. Also, the Crystal Gems were planning to bubble Lapis' mirror when they found out that it was talking to Steven, prompting her to start screaming her head off. That's…
And to employ your fish-murdering skills on a more regular basis.
I liked the first season for the most part. It's almost the opposite of Regular Show, in that the show pretty steadfastly stays grounded in reality. Season 2 has featured a lot more flights of fantasy, and in some cases deliberately fantastical. I'm not sure I like that direction for the show.
You now have me imagining Steven spending all his time asleep playing mental card games with Lapis and punching Jasper repeatedly when she tries to take over. As for why she doesn't let the Gems bubble Jasper, Lapis herself considered that a fate worse than death when she was in the mirror. As much as she might not…
As are all attractive and trustworthy people.

At its best, Regular Show is capable of some very compelling character moments, easily on par with AT and SU. It's also capable of the kind of off-the-wall insanity and humor that the other shows lack. If you want to see RS at it's funniest, give the Baby Ducks trilogy a try ("A Bunch of Baby Ducks", "A Bunch of…
Dreams are not boring to listen to! Everyone is edified at all times when I tell them about the time I dreamed of being attacked by a zombie semi-truck!
I'm specifically referring to issue 25 of the main series. I consider the end of that issue good enough that, should AT end without a satisfactory conclusion for whatever reason, I would happily recommend that comic as a finale to the series.
Young Amethyst makes all flashback episodes instantly worthwhile.
It's possible she knew how to play the violin before, she just wasn't having any of being a part of Greg's band.
That painting from "So Many Birthdays" depicted her on a mission in the 1700s in her current adult form. If I had to guess, I would say that she would shapeshift into an older form for combat purposes, and only assumed that form as her default once Rose passed.
The style preferred by our own Princess Bubblegum.
"Is this not how it's supposed to be?"
"Why are you laughing?"
"Why are you crying?"
