I believe Ooo is just modern day Earth +1000 years in an alternate universe where magic exists. As for the comets, they bring an agent of change with them, which isn't necessarily bad.

You can't slump on his lumps, for sadly you are a chump.
That "will you be sweet to me?" line is equal parts cute and terrifying. It comes with the subtext of "be sweet to this kid or you'll unleash evil powers unfathomable". I would actually love to hear Ron Perlman delivering that line at some point. Tree Trunks' elaborate show of affection almost plays like an…
Possible, though it could be that the Lich is making designs on Finn specifically. He has a habit of immediately striking at the thing that defeated him as soon as he regenerates, and after the Citadel I don't think he's going to start regarding Finn's victories as flukes anymore.
LSP wasn't ready for Brad to kiss her on the mouth, so she destroys his junk with a block of wood.
Sweet P said that he dreamed of being the comet boy. Does that imply that he's dreaming of being Finn?
Vampire women have some additional hygiene rituals to keep looking their best. Got to keep those maggots and worms under control, since they technically are walking corpses.
Magic Man's delivery is always spectacular. I was a fan of the way he complimented Jake on his plan to take him out, then effortlessly dispatched him and Finn in the same breath.
Princess Bubblegum was ahead of her time.
The season finales tend to lead directly into the next season openers anyway, so perhaps it's for the better that the miniseries won't be the season 7 opener.
If it references Tides of Time, we may have a new contender for trippiest episode of the series.
I'm actually more taken with the idea presented in the review that Magic Man and Betty are the better points of comparison. Both desperate enough to revive their lost loved ones that they delved beyond their depth, Magic Man into the kind of Magic and science needed to create the Margles defense system and Betty in…
Now take all that crap off, we have work to do!
Fair enough. Given how much clamoring there is over Marty potentially being Sour Cream's dad, it would not surprise me at all to find out there's a substantial block of fans who want to see him again.
I kind of liked last week's episode a little better on the rewatch, but seeing these two back to back really didn't do the art style of "Water Park Prank" any favors. I did notice there was something on Finn's left ankle throughout the episode. It kind of looked like a bandage, but it was never commented on and I…
Possible, though Betty was attempting to get to the root of Magic Man's madness, not necessarily see Margles. It seems to imply he truly lost himself when his attempt to bring her back via the planetary defense system failed, not just when she was killed. Further demonstration of just how far out of her depth Betty…
Finn and Jake, President Porpoise has been kidnapped by Sea Lards. Are you bad enough dudes to save him?
I was more thinking of additional speaking roles for Opal and Sugilite. Stevonnie may be exempt, as AJ Michalka is an actress as well as a singer.
Working on a full show with other storyboarders might provide that needed temperance to bring his ideas cohesion. AT and SU both seem to have strong individual voices in their storyboarding teams, so a theoretical Moynihan show might follow suit.
A lot of AT's crew have roots in independent comics, so that could be an option as well. I'd love to see him get his own series going though. If what we've seen from AT alumni is anything to go by, it should be fantastic.
