“It’s like Posse Comitatus down there”
Karate Kicking Stolen Car Guy isn’t the hero we need, but he is the hero we deserve.
This is on Tyronn Lue. If he had put the Roomba in instead of JR Smith, this never would have happened.
Downloaded this program called WinRAR to open some .rar archives. Then it was all like, “This is not a free program. Please give me moneys.” But it kept working anyway.
Really? We’re going to judge a site that sells footage for content creation? Look for bullying, racism and i don’t know, other unethical or wrong things you shouldn’t do, you’ll probably find someone that sells that footage or will happily do it for a price because it’s for creating something, to show an example of…
But the prevalence of such accidents is a good reason WHY such stock footage exists. So when someone writes an article about a Tesla autopilot crash, they have a generic image of a doofus asleep behind the wheel to go with it.
The outrage and hypocrisy is tiresome. It’s stock footage. Does this really need to be explained to you? Really?
Uhhh... I’m not sure if you understand what the role of a stock footage website is Raphael. They are not exactly judges of what should and should not be done, and it’s not an endorsement website. In fact, most of the times these types of videos and photos are used to condemn the practice. And you know, the video could…
There are legitimate uses for stock footage such as this. Where’s the uproar over the stock footage of people eating while driving? Or people texting while driving? Or doing makeup while driving?
Thanks for a great article. Sorry for the people who know they’re not interested in something like this but still feel the need to come here and publically express their disgust to cover their insecurities, like any of us really care.
You clearly don’t live in California. Before I moved annual registration was about $700 for a new car. Even a 25 year old beater was $100.
California is still building a bullet train nobody wants, that’s 7 times over budget and still needs to tunnel through multiple mountains. What I’m saying is this great idea will be law by next Tuesday.
Registration in CA costs about $100 or more every two years. I assume the throw the cost of a stamp in there...
“put many of them out of work”
There is a DMV joke in here somewhere about the difference between working and being employed.
What we want in California are normal black plates with white letters.
I’m sure the California DMV workers are unionized and vote. Your idea would put many of them out of work, so even though it makes perfect sense it will never happen.
If this takes off (and for the love of all that is good, I hope it doesn’t), here are some things I plan to invent:
I just assumed they did a cost benefit analysis of the money saved by not hiring cashiers compared to the money lost in theft.
Whoever cut the video sucks. You can’t tell it’s a quick pitch because the pitch is already being delivered when the CF view starts.
As soon as I saw the headline, it was obvious it was the waffle fries. Not because they’re good (they are), but because every meal comes with them. Soda hits number two for the same reason.
