What about “conservative panic?” Like, if I’m talking to someone who looks like they might be cool only to find out they’re a smug Trump-loving bigot. It’s entirely possible that the discovery of this might make me temporarily insane and my fury may be unleashed.

That’s it. Of all the stuff pointed out here, that’s the thing I think we need to keep re-iterating. The signed copy of his hands picture story is just the tip of the iceberg. He can’t help himself. He’s too easily ruffled, too easily baited.

Imagine what it’ll be like if Trump DID win presidency. Most of the world just might be like “We’re sorry we can’t continue to do business for you... you’re just too messed up now.”

Sam Bee’s show is so, SO good. I’d venture a guess it’s the sharpest show on TV right now. I was worried about it because I’m such a huge fan of hers, but her last few years at TDS were just sort of “I’m married to Jason Jones! I’m pregnant a lot!” but OH MY GOD IT’S SO GOOD.

I heard an interview with him a while ago where part of his strategy was to flip PLEDGED delegates at the convention (this was before he ran off a string of wins, so he’s stopped saying it now). I know his position on the issues - he’s very, very, deeply wrong. He’s anti-abortion. He’s voted against civil rights bills. He’s voted against gay rights, an issue near and dear to my super gay heart.

He is a hardline conservative on most issues who is certainly more in favor of boots-on-the-ground interventionism than the mainstream, but he’s not a “shut down the government” guy, nor is he a bigot or a cretin. Yes, he holds Republican party line positions on every issue, and no, I don’t agree with any of them. But…

Lindsay Graham, though ever the belle of the ball, is an extremely dangerous radical and I hope this latest junket doesn’t convince people otherwise.

It’s reminiscent of Al Gore in a strange way. He’s way more appealing when he’s already out of the race.
