I’m neither an American nor an American football viewer but I’ve always been troubled by the fact that the stadiums are full of angry white people cheering on black men in their prime giving each other concussions. It evoked something akin to gladiators to me.

That was the most bothersome part for me. I’ve worked in the service industry (hospitality, restaurant, etc) and I always made sure to go the extra five miles for my people - complimentary upgrades or whatever little powers I had to give them the treatment they weren’t getting elsewhere in America.
