uggh. I truly feel bad for joyless people.

At this one he was talking about a Batman comic he had been working on that turned into a new super hero and it was all a statement on 9/11. The panel was to discuss that release and ohhhhh lord it was awkward and the opposite of fun.
Were you there too? I kept wishing for someone to come punch me or something.
Sat through a panel with Frank Miller at SDCC 2011 while waiting for the Joss Whedon panel after. The only thing I took away from the panel is that he might be the most humorless man I've ever heard speak. It was an uncomfortable 45 minutes for everyone.
You're not alone. I trudged through to the end just to say I did finish it.
Yeah, I caught it, but I'm at work and didn't have time to go back and edit.
haha true. Will have to see what kind of time I can do next summer. I really wanted to tack on a few days when I went in 2011 so I could get to the zoo at least, but just couldn't make it work.
Does downtown have pirate themed hotel rooms?
If this by any chance is finished by next July my SDCC plans may include an additional few days in California.
I'd never leave a LEGO-Batcave room. NEVER.
Yup! Crazy amounts of swag. You can also mail things from the Owl Post and have it post marked Hogwarts. You can get chocolate frogs at Honeydukes and toys at the Weasley's and wands at Ollivander's. Plus there's a little pub/restaurant. And all of the roof's are made to look like they're covered in snow. And things…
I'll also say that the simulated broom stick ride through Hogwarts is one of the best rides I've been on. So. Much. Fun. We were laughing and screaming through the whole ride. And if you're a big fan of the design you'll love it. Standing in line means walking through the castle including Dumbledore's office and the…
Well, if they were going to crash anyway, might as well control it and learn something in the process.
I had a great time, but then it wasn't a huge expense type trip. My family lives about 2 hours from Orlando so I stayed with them a few days, then we drove over and stayed a couple nights in Orlando and did one day at the Islands of Adventure which is where Harry Potter world is. It was definitely a LOT of fun. And…
It's for booze.
Right? 2012 was perfection. People just don't understand.
Excellent.
I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando last summer and it was the greatest thing ever. Butterbeer changed my life. (I've been drinking all my boozey egg nog out of my butterbeer mug this season.) I just like to take every opportunity I can to talk about my awesome time in Hogsmeade.
My "come on!" came with the terminally ill child whose parents didn't come to get him and so heroic Doctor Mom stayed with him. My sister and I saw it together (we're both appreciators of bad sci fi) and we both yelled it out together.
I will always watch The Day After Tomorrow if it's on. And I always recommend it. Running from the weather! And also wolves! Never not awesome.
