Why would Marcello be the MVP of this season? The dude literally plays the same character every time. Quick, everyone: name a Marcello sketch that doesn’t star Pedro Pascal!

Too true. The murders weren’t even the main focus of the show in the beginning. It was the chemistry between three weirdoes who shared a common interest. The murders just brought them together. I have no idea why they decided to split them all up for this long.
Anyone else feel like this season’s a little lacking compared to the previous two? Maybe it’s because the main trio barely feel like a trio anymore because of this season’s focus on giving each character extended scenes with anyone else other than the actual trio that the show built upon. Or is it just me?
It’s more of a “how many times can we keep saying the same things over and over again” issue than a “why are we talking about this” one. This article literally contains nothing new that hasn’t been covered by other outlets, even the A.V. Club itself.
Oh, good: another article about The Idol! I'm sure this will have something of substance in it that hasn't already been covered by every single outlet for the last month!
Is there any particular reason why it seems like HBO shows are the only ones getting weekly reviews here anymore? Maybe the writers who write articles about inane celebrity “news” can handle watching some shows and review it once a week?
Apparently, he's not done, considering he signed onto doing another movie.
Bill talks about it on his latest Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend episode, albeit only briefly.
Is it just me or are they really just . . . forgetting that this used to be a series revolving around commentary on how tech affects us?
I don’t think every episode is one day, especially considering the Living+ episode took place in two days: the daywhere Kendall proposed a new set be built in less than 24 hours and the day of the presentation.
I can see what you’re getting at, but isn’t Greg an oaf every season? I did appreciate him taking a little control with Mr. Snippy-Snip to great results, though.
It’s a very successful first post-Logan public appearance for Kendall. He spoke confidently, he used his “wounded puppy” charm in including his father in the presentation (whether or not he meant it is a different discussion, of course), and successfully fended off Matson’s attempt at derailing his momentum publicly.…
I don’t know, I thought Kendall’s win was very much earned. Him walking on the beach and swimming came across as very cathartic to me. It was a guy finally gaining some real confidence that he can do shit without his father looking over his shoulder. Kendall comes across as arrogant and pushy, but that stems from his…
Is everyone going to ignore how Frank was clearly walking, running and jumping around while playing his music in last weekend’s performance, despite allegedly having “two fractures and a sprain” in his leg?
I gotta be honest: it’s fascinating to see someone stretch out something not even remotely newsworthy like “Metro Boomin brings out The Weeknd at Coachella, plays new song” into five parahraphs that add absolutely nothing to the information conveyed by the headline.
No mention of Ben Schwartz in the entire review? I give this write-up an F.
Bigot “fans”: Woke Hollywood better not leave out anything from the games in this adaptation!
That’s honestly been one of my concerns so far. I understand the need to spread things out a bit since a 9-hour series has to have more interesting parts than a 12-hour game that’s filled with gameplay, but the time spent on fleshing-out Kathleen and Bill/Frank feels like time that’s taken away from seeing more Joel…
I’d love to hear from people who’ve never played the games: how affected are you by Joel and Ellie’s connection at this point? Without spoiling how the rest of the season will go, that connection’s going to be tested, so I’m really interested how their relationship comes across to people who *haven’t* been playing as t…
Maybe I'm being an asshole, but shouldn't reviews be based on what a show does, not what you wish it did? I mean, the author of this review basically spent three consecutive paragraphs grappling internally about whether they understand the concept of the show or not. Do editors still exist here on this site?
