Wow, Pony sounds exactly like a Letters to Cleo / Julianna Hatfield mashup. Definitely jabbing me right in the 90's nostalgia ribs.

Right? No shade on this kid, who I’m sure is (all the good adjectives), but comparing him to Einstein is wacky. He earned a bachelors in a complex science field, which absolutely is amazing for an 11 year old, but how many folks that are 10-12 years older did the exact same thing last year? Thousands? And when he gets…
“Where’s my chocolate bar?”
Oh, fuck offffffff, as much as is humanly possible.
Oh, no! It’s Cindy Crawford’s 70 lb teenage daughter! RUNNNNN!
And before that he was the young version of (main character guy) in Redford’s A River Runs Through It.
Viall tweeted, “What’s legal isn’t always right. What’s illegal isn’t always wrong. Don’t know everyone’s situation, but my gut tells any alum applying for a PPP is both savvy and shitty.”
I’d love to see her as the lead in something, but it seems especially wasteful to cast her and Keegan as the boring straight men (well, couple) in a musical. I imagine she’d be put to infinitely better use as an unhinged townsperson.
YES. This review (and the trailer) made me wonder if this had been sitting on the shelf for twenty years.
I was super excited for this until I saw the trailer. Still going to find a way to watch to support my girl Cecily (and everyone else in the stacked cast).
Same! I think it’s enjoyable and I watch the hell out of it, but I have friends who think it’s Important Television, and I can’t co-sign that. They produce and act the shit out of it, but like, is this show about anything? It’s like a soap opera with a $100 million budget.
We test drove everything in that category and really liked the Tiguan from a fit & finish POV, but it seemed to have the lowest mpg by far, and acceleration felt a bit laggy. Ultimately got a Rav4 that we like fine (it suits our needs perfectly), but still think the Tiguan looks the best in that space.
Yeah, the backwards Nike logo pinged my sumthins up radar.
Yeah, I dunno, I thought it was fun? All the folks up here posting about how disinterested they are...
I’m really struggling with the sitcom device. I’ve been thinking of something like Pleasantville, where Joan Allen is a perfect 1950s black & white housewife, then she discovers an inner life and turns to color. It feels relevant and necessary to the film. In KCFH’s sitcom reality she’s exasperated and trading salty…
You may be right. Given how grossly overweight “real Americans” are, I’d expect them to work through the nation’s food supply in a hot second.
Not only were they wearing masks and carrying shields, they threw smoke bombs to “cover their escape.” I just ... these fat (I assume), neck-bearded motherf*ckers in masks literally running away from the people they came to intimidate, leaving behind sad little trails of smoke like they’re f*cking Batman. How do they…
I was wondering if that was Rhea! Super fun. Also glad they brought Sian onboard.
I just watched the trailer for Country Comfort and aside from seeming like a dreadful parody of 90s sitcoms, they shot it like some surreal David Lynch nightmare. Like, do they not know what outside looks like? The artificiality of the lighting and sets suggests they were intentionally creating an atmosphere of…
Are you watching Loki? I was thrilled to see her turn up, but (so far) am hugely disappointed they don’t appear to be doing anything interesting with her. Fingers crossed her thread goes somewhere, because she’s super fab.
