Nothing is better than that! Is it?

Hmm, I’m not seeing the remastering detail very well - it looks the same as it ever was.

Here’s the short version:

I never refer to the microwave as anything but the science oven.

Hate to be that guy... but “screaming match”? Could we be any more gender stereotyped? If this is George Clooney and a male director, it gets called “shouting match”, which is not going to be viewed nearly as badly.

or you could just write original stuff with anarchic comic energy if that’s what you want to do

Excuse me but since when the Roger Michell adaptation is a disappointment????

Kim’s going to be fist-deep inside a toddler’s chest cavity ripping their heart out by the end of the season and I’ll still be like “honestly love that for her”

I do not understand the love for The Morning Show. The first season was uneven, but entertaining. This season was just off-the-rails bad. I get that the Globes likes to nominate big stars to invite to their party, so the nod for Aniston makes sense. But they seem to genuinely like the show?

I am only partway through the 2nd episode, but I wish they showed the lead-up to the times when Yoko sings.  Presumably, it was John’s idea, but I’d like to see everyone else’s face when that happens.

I personally really enjoyed the minutiae and seeing their process. But I think what I love about this is that it reveals just how normal these guys were. They were exceptionally talented, musically, but they’re also terrible communicators for most of these sessions. No one’s ever really at each other’s throat, as

I hope the movie version goes in a completely different direction with their Supergirl. The idea of recasting Kara Danvers is almost as unthinkable as finding a new Xena.

Melissa Benoist as Kara/ Supergirl is still basically to me the best, most inspired casting possibly of all time & evidence that whoever is in charge of casting for the ArrowVerse shows should get a Nobel Prize

I loved that Lena went for an evening glam look at a daytime farm wedding. I’m guessing the Luthors just don’t do country chic, ever.

I’ve deliberately avoided season 6 for fear it was going to end... well, exactly how this article feared it would end actually. But no, no they actually went with the Justice League Unlimited ‘and the adventure continues’ ending. For *once* Kara Zor-El doesn’t get absolutely screwed over in the DC universe! Now when’s

there’s something empowering about watching Supergirl get to end on its own ambitiously unambitious terms.

The last half hour of the finale is the best this show has ever been. And I find that extremely frustrating because THIS is what this show should’ve been focused on, and what this final season should’ve been focused on. Stories about family, smaller interpersonal stories. The problem with this show has always been it

Lena’s wedding outfit was powerful indeed. I thought nothing would top Alex’s suit but, welp.

Mixed feelings on Gangs of London. It starts really well and there’s some stunning action in there, but it really falls off a cliff after the amazing episode 5, and the season finale left me with absolutely no interest in watching a second season.

Her short stint on American Gods (another show where her character’s best friend slept with her husband) was fantastic, especially the second episode. I don’t think anybody has ever captured how one would react to seeing their reanimated dead friend as well as she did.
