I was tangentially involved in an event that she spoke at. Calling her needy is an insult to the needy. She is an egomaniac with an inferiority complex, who doesn’t consider others as she plows through the world shrieking “me, me, me.” Everything - every single thing is about her.

“I said consider the circumstances. She’s a 17-year-old, by herself, in a foreign country. In a facility where she’s detained. And she has no one to talk to. And she’s pregnant. Now that is a difficult situation.”

It’s amazing how even when surrounded by Republican politicians, this guy manages to be the most unctuous, oily motherfucker in the room. It’s like somebody took a dead weasel and reanimated it with SuperPAC money and black white magic.

She lied to him and said the kid was full of shit and just trying to extort money but then he saw that picture and realized he had been paying off a rape victim and that sent him over the edge.

That’s my whole thing. Kneeling in and of itself is a sign of respect. It’s actually more laborious and humble than throwing a hand over your heart, so technically the players love the flag more than you racist idiots, I guess.

I love how he said that the picture was photoshopped: “I was actually preparing for my role as Falstaff in Henry the Fourth!”

I want to talk to the (probably) Millennial-aged niece or nephew who she’s having this dispute with!!  Fight the good fight this Thanksgiving, y’all.

No you’re mistaken, that gentleman is Donovan McNabb.

Trader Joe’s is loving all the free advertising and I am loving seeing Geoffrey Owens hotness all over my screen. Dude has gotten better looking with age.

...the posts were not meant to be public—they were “the result of an ongoing family dispute.

I always remember this quote from Donal Logue:

HE WORE HIS NAME TAG TO THE INTERVIEW!!! God, Mr. Owens is awesome.

I love that he wore his Yale gear to the interview. I’m Ivy league trained bitches! You can’t put me down!

Also, like, maybe he doesn’t want to have to take every shitty acting gig that comes his way. Maybe working at Trader Joe’s allows him to be selective about where he does his “art,” and to choose projects he’s passionate about rather than acting to make a buck (which, for the record, is also perfectly fine. Just look

I worked at Trader Joe’s for four years and it’s actually a pretty great place to have as a side gig. They’re flexible, you get insurance at 15/30 hours a week (depending on level of insurance/location) and there are shifts available at all times. My coworkers were artists, animators, students, yoga teachers, running

HAPPY LABOR DAY EVERYONE!

Black women are awesome.

This is what’s she’s generally always done, and her fans (rightfully) love her for it.  I’m not surprised she didn’t try to move over the question.

Players learning that taking the chance of being blackballed by the NFL for standing up for causes is worth making a stand for, even if it means you can’t be a baller anymore. I’m glad she spoke out and hope more black athletes speak out about it. Might reach some young men who aren’t too focused on making that money

Serena could have kept it moving and not say anything or ride the fence.
