I agree with everything you’ve stated but I would argue it is an EXCELLENT yogurt maker. My husband and I make a yogurt so good in our instant pot that it rivals the fancy Greek yogurt available at LA farmer’s markets. We’ve become crazy yogurt people.

This is an excellent question! I actually love this natural curly bang look, but that is not why I have to blow dry my bangs. My fringe just goes wonky when I air dry. And not just the bangs, but the wisps around them. I can literally air dry the other 95% of my hair, but the bang and bang adjacent area have no chill.

Awwwww.... here are some visual aids.

I’m not saying my dad’s look is everyone’s cup of tea. Just my mom and Diane Keaton.

This is a fair point and I have jumped to adapt to corporate changes in my own career, so I’m not defending that behavior. What I failed to illustrate as a third party observer following the blog drama is that it wasn’t even a clear expectation because nobody had been using the office regularly leading up to the

It wasn’t an established routine. The owners had basically stopped using the office regularly and the employees were often working offsite prior to the vacation. It made Emily “feel” better that they use the office when she was out of town.

Exactly. There’s also the part where Emily insisted she wasn’t going to comment on Alina’s departure, but turns around and posts on social media they simply HAD to let her go, all while Alina has gone radio silent. Then she starts copying her content for weeks.

I also think it’s important to emphasize Alina was recruited and hired under the premise that her work hours would be more “flexible” and that the office wasn’t being utilized by the owners regularly either. According to Alina, the push to use the office 9 to 5 was fairly recent and was not an outlined expectation.

Ah! I got kinja’d real hard on this post.

Definitely. My in laws are not even in industry. I think that’s actually pretty rad that she hangs with regular folk, but that shouldn’t translate to “no friends”.

LOL, fair enough. I’m appalled I didn’t catch that in the edit window. Mick Jagger. Edward James Olmos meets Mick Jagger. She was vibing for sure.

Haha please mock away. I am suuuuper bummed about the words auto correct changes. I should have gone back to edit, but I guess I felt confident about major gaffes. Glad you can still see some humor!

Hahahaha that’s basically what I was afraid I’d sound like. There were so many random guest stars swarming but her, I felt like my silent appreciation was the best way to honor her. Also I wasn’t sure how she’d take to my fervent love of Baby Boom.

So I went to relative of my husband’s wedding a few years back. When the ceremony was over I turned around and a woman wearing a hat caught my eye. I didn’t recognize her as family, and she looked somewhat out of place with her upscale clothes. And then it hit me and literally took my breath away that Diane freaking

My friend’s two year old daughter had to be evacuated from her pre-school at one of these centers. Two years old. I’m shaking my head so hard that’s it’s bound to fall off pretty soon. Fuck this administration forever.

This is such an excellent point. Thank you for this.

The pointless slights is a huge one for her. She gets super fixated on holidays and gifts. It’s really weird.

This is breaking my heart. I’m so sorry and you have every right to stay angry.

Still honing this skill. Whenever I set boundaries, no matter the scope, she rails against “so many rules!”. This is a good reminder to stand firm on those boundaries. Thank you.

That’s probably what I’m going to do. I try not to engage when she’s spinning out.
