I have my own solution for tie-less bags.
Bring together the open end and hold in one hand. Spin the bag to twist the opening into a single string. Either tie that or wrap once with tape.

As a college professor I fully believe this and am also somewhat relieved to hear this, because at least 50-75% of my colleagues are insane and sometimes I question if its thats a normal average for coworkers.
legally you can install 3 prong GFCI outlets where 2 prong 2 wire outlets live. but you need to add the sticker (in the box with the outlet) that it has a floating ground.
Quick show of hands, as it were. Who has switches in their house that they STILL have no clue what they operate? I've got two that I'm convinced must be a practical joke by the electrician.
Oh interesting—so it may not be upside down, but it's still the minority in terms of direction.
Have kids with red hair. My mom swears that is the best way to keep track of your kids.
Whoa, my family snapshot made it in Lifehacker. Yes, my wife is the queen of Disney tips and tricks. We had 3 or 4 sets of clothes for that trip. We also always did what I called the "police lineup" pictures of the kids at the beginning of every day (though we also sharpies cell numbers to the bottom of the shoes).…
Be aware that sometimes large groups choose a bright color to identify themselves at theme parks. For example, there will be a great number of people wearing red during the first weekend in June at Disney World, so plan accordingly.
You neglected to mention the funniest parts of Nathaniel M.'s reviews:
I received a stack of resumes about four inches deep for a job I posted. When you have to go through that many resumes, it's true what they say: the hiring manager doesn't spend more than a few seconds on each one.
I have a southern sister-in-law with whom I do not get along. I already knew that "bless your heart" thing. And we do talk fairly quietly at table except my sister-in-law. For some reason she thinks that her opinion would be appreciated by everyone. Just spent 3 days with her having meals in restaurants and she…
I watched an episode of one of Nigella Lawson's cooking shows and she savs leftover wine to use for cooking. Ok, fine, but then she said she sometimes adds wine left in glasses.
Agreed. Even in places like the United States, where there is no official language. English is of course widely spoken, but you're bound to interact with people who don't speak a word of it, especially in the food service industry.
Buy the store brand/generic to save lots of money.
I've never been to a trader joe's and when I was last home, on teh other end of the country, I forgot to visit one. I'll have to add that to my Xmas to-do list. :) Hope you liked it!
This is particulate filtering not biological filtering. I strongly recommend any water filtered this way is boiled before consumption or treated with chlorine bleach to kill everything living in it. I have seen successful Solar disinfection by using a long parabolic reflector and a clear pipe to run the water…
I grew up in the Southern US - and holy shit is Ranch Mania strong there. I never acquired a taste for it but I had tons of friends who would drown EVERYTHING in that white goop.
I cannot claim your level of mustard love, but I do like to joke that I like a little sandwich with my mustard. It's a delicious condiment, in many many forms.
These are mildly weird until you get to that one. That's why I saved that for last.
Ever been to the South? I ABSOLUTELY believe it.
