and of course your mileage may vary.

could depend on the job. for example, i work in IT so the year i graduated speaks to how fresh my knowledge is in a rapidly changing environment. the claim could be made that it’s relevant information to the job. so if i get new certifications or take continuing ed classes in my field, i need to keep that updated on

bonus: if you ever find the ice bag is a solid slab of ice, you know your freezer lost power long enough to make your frozen food suspect.

if you try the taco bell one, after working there for a few years i found that las palmas mild red enchilada sauce is a perfect substitute for taco bell’s “red sauce” that goes in various burritos, mexican pizza, etc.

actually now i’m not sure how much water it uses. i’ve never measured it, i always just use the faucet. the product page says “three full pitchers of the pitcher with 5 liter markings” but i looked at the pitcher where i stashed it under the sink and it’s clearly not that big and the reviews i’ve read indicate it uses

i am using a farberware FDW05ASWWHC without a GFCI outlet and my faucet has a built in sprayer. it fills from a port in the top with either the sprayer or from a jug. takes about 45 seconds to fill. i tend to wedge the faucet head in between the bottom edge of the upper cabinet and the top of the dishwasher and leave

buying a countertop dishwasher was the best decision i made during the pandemic. probably one of the best decisions of my life.

this sounds excellent. i’m already familiar with worcestershire sauce in cream cheese as the main component of crab rangoon (onion allergy so i DIY my rangoon at home) so it’s not that much of a stretch.

that is exactly what my fig tree does for the east side of my house, leaves come off late october and return in feb/march

yes, trees!
i am fortunate to only have two east facing windows and one is under cover of the carport. 9 years ago i planted a fig tree in front of the other one and that room is now generally about 5 degrees cooler than it used to be in summer. and since the fig is deciduous, the room gets sun in winter. less work

when your furniture comes with a specialized assembly tool or super tiny allen wrench, tape it under the furniture in a place where it’s unlikely to be casually dislodged but is easy to locate when you need to disassemble the furniture in the future.

“comparatively” good experience with cvs mail order via their aetna partnership. i actually call aetna to get hold of the pharmacy so it might be a special branch? i’ve not had experience with alliance and it sounds like i should be grateful for that.
i’d be fine with picking up locally except the few times i have for

i did indeed have BCBS at the time, years ago. unfortunately where i live, at the time of the insulin incident BCBS administered all the marketplace plans in my state and i didn’t have insurance through work (working temp jobs while going back to college) so it was BCBS or uninsured.
now i have AETNA through work and

ugh, yeah, enbrel is a pricey one indeed. i take 6 of my pills per day, so still an ugly amount. but i used to work in patient services for a pharma co that makes meds in the same class as enbrel so i’m far too familiar with that kind of issue. spent my days arranging for financial aid for injectables/infusions that

that does suck. although i take 6 of the $11 pills per day (540 pills per 90 days) so it’s still not great. i wish you a future with more affordable medication options

that’s an excellent question.

daaaamn. i take one medication that’s $11 per pill. i think i’d end up in jail if the TSA confiscated one.

sadly, the “reasonable quantity” clause for liquid medication has caused some problems for diabetics when individual TSA agents decide how much insulin a person should carry with them. i feel like the TSA should not get any say in the quantity of medication a person should take with them at any time, any where. they

as a person who reveres books and hates to see them destroyed, but recognizes that there are some books that have little to no informative value anymore, i suggest a few alternate non-reading uses for wildly out of date or damaged books:
