I prefer to use Canadian whisky, which has a similar flavor to Irish whiskey while being usually smoother and cheaper. Also, I just throw all the ingredients in the blender and haven’t had an issue with the cocoa separating too much.

I have been using Luxardo cherries in my Old Fashioned’s and Manhattans and adding a dollop of the liqueur to each cocktail. It gives a nice tart sweetness. I’m trying to think of what I could add to a simple syrup. I don’t have an extensive tea collection but ginger or vanilla seem likely candidates. Looking forward Read more

Handy to know, thanks! I added it to our subscribe & save order, so it was $8.50 for the 8 ounce jar. Free shipping, so it works out cheaper for now.

I would like to point out that if you are a heavy excel user and use a lot of plugins and OBDC a Excel for the Mac is very lackluster. In the org that I work there is a nice mix of PC and Mac and there is always a common issues when sharing PPT files back and forth and still today we see a problem with formatting. Not Read more

I’d hesitate on the Chromebook recommendation for certain college students. I adored my Samsung Chomebook Pro. It was a marvelous machine, and totally worked for like 98% of the things I needed it to. But it’s biggest hangup (having to use the Android version of Word) would have killed me in college. Our local Kroger had the veggie, along with beef and chicken. Maybe because I live in a college town with a lot of vegetarians/vegans, so it sells well. I use SPAM in my fried rice like it’s my job. My friends are all skeptical whenever I mention it, until they try it.

So in a way, it is my job because it’s all they request that I bring to pot lucks.

Have you ever cooked a waffle with bacon inside? MMMM! Partially cooked bacon works best. Just place a couple of strips on top of the waffle batter, close the lid and cook as usual.

Rick just bought this gorgeous little jewelbox of a house in Mexico with such a pretty kitchen that he already promised we’d be seeing a lot more of. Fingers crossed for him, and Priya and Sohla, because they all deserve much more success.

One of my landlords actually MADE me do that many years and one cat ago and it was a total revelation. I had no idea why I hadn’t thought of that before. Now I take a mug shot, as well as closeups of any distinctive features.

Thanks again. In case its not obvious I know next to nothing about growing things. If it wasn’t for the lockdown I probably would not be taking this experiment!
