as a person who does tech support for one of the major online educational/publishing platforms here is how a lot of my day goes:
user: describes assorted error message

i feel lucky that the food lion near me finally started carrying the roasted garlic BTB (and the veggie).

i get mine at aldi and theirs are pretty good.

or use your kitchen brick to really fold it tight and it’s calzone!

fried rice? ... be right back, there’s something i’ve gotta try...

add shredded cheese on top of the bacon and waffle batter for a nearly perfect food

yeah, but wouldn’t it be fun to see him try?

i second/third maangchi, food wishes, mikey chen (he has multiple channels).

i agree that outdoors is not good for them but accidents happen. some cat is lightning fast, a dog gets scared by fireworks at just the wrong moment, your houseguest doesn’t close the door properly. best to be prepared.

if you adopted your pet from a rescue or shelter save the images from the adoptable animal post (unless they were adopted as a kitten and they have grown up now) as those are often the right kind of photo to help identify them.

if you know you need to make squares or rectangles and you only want to cook one or two at a time try this. put your loose sausage into a zipper freezer bag, flatten it and get the air out. then use the handle of a wooden spoon or a chopstick to form a grid in the meat. freeze it flat. then when you need a piece or

if you rescue kittens these also have the purpose of being great feeder dishes for small kittens just learning how to eat mushy kitten food. it’s too shallow for them to get injured in (drowning in their food)

this also seems like a good opportunity to make compound buttery spreads. as long as you have the food processor out, you could add spices, roasted garlic, something for umami, nutritional yeast, etc.

i enjoy my snickers frozen and for some reason reading “a SLICE of snickers” my brain immediately went to “two frozen slices of snickers could make an ice cream sandwich” albeit maybe a small one. still... i know what i’m doing the next time i see a 1lb snickers bar

i enjoy mustard in almost every variety i’ve ever had. a few years ago my sister and parents traveled to germany. while out shopping separately, my sister and my mother both purchased several mustards for me at german grocery stores.

i grow the Arp rosemary variety in my yard. it’s one of the hardy varieties that tends to grow into a giant shrub. don’t get one of those for a shady porch, as it both requires sun and grows massive.
in fact there are several varieties that grow 7-12 feet and creep like crazy. for a smaller space i suggest a compact

if you like cilantro, it’s actually sometimes better not to have it in full sun or it will bolt too soon in hot weather. limiting its exposure to heat and sunlight can slow it for full season growth.
oregano seems to do ok with some partial shade, although it will go in search of light and will creep right out of the
