The institution of cheerleading is stupid enough, but to pretend that NFL cheerleaders are anything more than go-go dancers with pom-poms is even more ludicrous. It couldn’t be more obvious if they were in cages suspended from the Superdome roof.

Real News? Are you seriously questioning why this girl’s testimony is important? Are you implying that an innocent 15 year old girl who was shot in her school on the way to class is less important than a middle-aged white guy(undeniably a hero) who was shot doing his job?
What’s a reasonable amount of the latter to spend in the pursuit of the former? Most of my income seems to go into meet markets.
“You work one shirt hard.”
My husband tends to prioritize small needs over our debt. I consider putting $40 on the credit card more important than a better skillet. It causes a lot of fights.
Or better yet: tell the effing truth.
Nah... It’s the opposite of complicated. The restaurant does all the work for us, as they should since we’re paying them. Your method sounds reasonably equitable too though. I’m not against people splitting checks that way if it’s what they want. It’s just not a thing that people do around here. And it would be a…
Wow, man. It’s like talking to a brick wall. You’re obviously not actually listening to anything I’m saying. Again, it seems petty and cheap to you because you’ve only been in situations where asking for individual checks was the abnormal thing to do. But in a place where splitting a check evenly is the abnormal thing…
Dude...seriously. I’m telling you that it’s a cultural difference. Literally no one in the part of the world I live in splits checks that way. You only think it’s “tacky” and “childish” because you’re used to doing things differently. I don’t care about the extra 3 dollars or 3 euros or whatever. But it’s SO much…

Last year (~28-29) I started investing (outside of 401k, etc). I know I’m super lucky that I was in the position to have enough money to invest and no debt to get in the way, but actually doing the research and starting was significant to me.
My FICO score over 800... (was in the 500's 15 years ago).
Oh, my god. That is horrifying. And her career suffered because she dared to call out Hollywood and some movies she starred in as sexist.... She may not be the nicest person but damn she didn’t deserve the treatment she got.
Geez, I’m poor and I always offer 50 cents to a buck when asking to bum a smoke.
For context, I am definitely the kind of idiot whose mouth constantly writes a check their ass can’t cash.
The robe is really becoming the white van of the garment family.
This story horrified me. I couldn’t stop thinking about it for weeks when I first read it.
From what I’ve heard, “facilitated communication” is bullshit anyway.

Poor kid. At least he got his mom’s cheekbones.
