Yeah you could argue either way. I mean one thing with a true believer is that they will go down for the cause. An opportunist won’t, which can be a good thing or bad thing depending.

Everyone is problematic so I sort of understand this stance.

I think a lot has changed but it’s hard for parents to talk—especially about masturbation. They just cant get over masturbation or seem to be able to talk to their kids about it.

Chris Mazdzer gave an interview after he won silver in the luge about how he had a couple of years of failure beforehand which allowed him to be totally relaxed. And he was definitely having fun the whole competition. I do think if you are older and had some big failures it gives you a little more perspective.

I don’t know if it’s his relatively advanced age (Olympic rookie at 28) or just his personality, but his DGAF-ness is off the charts and I love it.

I’m rooting for him because he publicly put Mike Pence in his place.
