If I were her, because she supposedly had triple checked, I would just miss my flight and then take it up with the airline for the ticket cost/inconvenience. Or found an arriving passenger at the gates who would take it. If someone approached me with a little rodent after I arrived from a flight, I would certainly take it if it’s fate was flush or freeze.

At what point do we consider the well being of the emotional support animal in this scenario? If someone cannot properly care for or protect their pet they have no business having a pet, therapeutic benefits or not. There are options such as medication and therapy to treat mental illness.

In an article I read she said she thought about releasing it outside but thought that was “too cruel.” Uh huh.

Thankfully, she was also able to notify the press to broadcast her idiocy.

Looking at the story, it’s clear she supplied a bunch of pictures of the hamster, and then a fucking selfie. How dense can you be? Every comment I’ve read so far has been people seeing if she can be charged for animal abuse. I have a feeling she’s gonna have it tough for the next few weeks at least.

The article states she is enrolled in a university. One would hope she developed the minimum of critical thinking skills..... or just, you know, regular damn thinking skills.
