I live in his district and I don’t know a single person who voted for him; he totally screwed our district too, and the speculation is that the only reason he conceded to not run again is because he knew he wouldn’t win this go around and didn’t want to deal being a loser.

He won in 2010 by 800 votes, then had his district redrawn to favor a more Republican electorate.

To be fair, he looks like too much effort would tire him out pretty quickly.

He looks like he thinks a rape kit includes rophynal and duct tape.

Fair enough, but can we please keep “dotard”? [I mean on the grounds that it wasn’t formed from X + tard.]

Maybe we could just stop using the suffix “-tard” as an insult, period?

i didn’t mean for it to be about that, i was just trying to low-key make fun of the hypocrisy of someone who looks like he does having the gall to make lewd comments about the appearances of others.

If that is the case, this “Office of Congressional Ethics” (by the way, is than an oxymoron or what) needs to be investigated by “Normal People Who Can Tell Right From Wrong”.

Farenthold also frequently made lewd comments about the appearance of women including reporters and lobbyists

Wait, wat? They “found, 6-0, that there wasn’t enough effort”? He didn’t try hard enough to harass people? His efforts were weak? Lame? Not enough energy behind his words and actions? This guy got elected and he’s this stupid, to say that?

I guess the pr firms handling sexual assault allegations are now advising clients to do a pre-emptive “I’m sorry I have to apologize - but it wasn’t that bad from what I remember” BEFORE the accusations come out. Truly a flip of the script and “so brave.”

Are you Moby? Or Lisa Bloom? Because you seem very invested in everyone being vocal about the fact that Moby and Lisa Bloom have invented a problem to solve. And I never said that that they are frivolous attention seekers, I inferred that they are stupid. IMHO, of course.

I don’t think so. Homelessness is a huge issue in LA—HUGE. They have money and time, apparently, so they could throw themselves into helping with that in literally any way—solving the bathroom issue for homeless people or helping feed homeless people, if not actually helping to solve homelessness. Or help spay &

What the hell? How did that dog even turn into a fit of rage over a head of lettuce in the first place? Lol.

not a good idea

My parents’ neighbors’ dog is on a vegan diet, but that’s because she’s (the dog, that is) allergic to pretty much all animal proteins (20 separate allergies in total).

I’m sorry, but this idea is absolutely horseshit.

Saving is so difficult. When I was 23 I was like “25 year old me will have his student loans and finances figured out”. This has kept procrastinating to the point where I am 30 and still don’t have my shit paid off. I could have paid my shit off and been living the good life but noooooo.

My thought as well. Good quality salmon that you'd actually be inclined to eat this way is not cheap either. This is probably closer to letting princes eat like kings.

Fresh wild Sockeye Salmon is in season right now and the grocery stores, costco and others have it for maybe the next month. I was also inspired by that previous weekend's WSJ piece and made it 2 different ways with Sockeye which is a darker deeper color. It's not that hard to make and it does freeze well too.
