Putting aside the fact that execution is barbaric and wrong, this guy has also maintained his innoncence for 24 years, and asked repeatedly for DNA at the crime scene to be tested, saying it would exonerate him. Apparently they were like, nope (?!!!), and now he’s dead.

These travesties are done in your name and mine. It’s shocking and barbaric.

The death penalty is barbaric and has no place in a modern legal system.

Thank you. I can’t believe they’re issuing stays for 10 minutes, 45 minutes, etc. Forget execution; being teased with your own imminent death like this seems like cruel and unusual punishment to me.
