Copyright is StoryCorps. But it goes in Library of Congress (which some people are excited about). I’m sure I wrote it in an unclear way.

And you, DT’s coke dealer, have put your finger on the exact issue I have with StoryCorps. Who owns your story? You are wasted as a coke dealer, you should be an attorney. I mean, Eureka!

Still, that is not right.

Now I gotta’ defend storycorps (and I have issues with them). They do different work than St. Jude’s. But the interviews they do are often with old people or everyday people who witnessed something historic or who discuss their lives as regular people. People who are interviewed for storycorps are often interviewed by

Ok, 3% is ridiculous. A realistic amount would be 65% or more.

Actually, that is an oversimplification (my apologies, I am a donor, a volunteer and a nonprofit employee with a degree in nonprofit management and this is a pet gripe of mine). Nonprofits generally (like for profits) pay their executive director many times what they pay line staff, that is true. But a nonprofit needs

Oh, nonprofits are as anti-union as any other business. In fact, several YMCAs have tried to unionize (and maybe some succeeded? I sort of lost track). Nonprofits feel that they are “good” in some way that other organizations are not, but anyone who has ever worked for a nonprofit will tell you that (just as for

Abandoned it RESPECTFULLY.

I knew kids who were dating juniors when they were freshman and seniors when they were sophmores. I can’t think of one time it wasn’t unequal—the upperclassman/woman ran the relationship. I doubt this woman ever had the upper hand in this relationship just based on that, though (of course) I don’t know. Anyway, I hear

But I remember he promised to be presidential...(not that I voted for him). I suppose the error was not asking him to detail specifically what he meant by presidential?

So we deserve a shitty bully as a president? Is that what she means?

So, she’s nineteen and has a three year old with this guy. So she delivered at 16. He’s 22 (also quite young) so became a father at 19. But his 18 or 19 year old self was screwing her 15 or 16 year old self. Does that bother anyone? Just me, then?

I’m picturing ankle length gray flannel.

That ride existed when I first went to Cedar Point...in the 1970s. It is an old ride. And I recall that I loved it as a youngster.

How? I am glad she is alright, but I’ve been on that and I ask how? Maybe if she is super, duper skinny? How? Inquiring minds and all.

I’m glad to hear you take some down time. And you’re welcome.

You must have an amazing work ethic!

This does not surprise me at all. It depresses me but it doesn’t surprise me. Hey, did anyone see that article yesterday (can’t remember where it was) about young women owing more than young men on student loans? Maybe that article was here. Depressing and soon to get worse.

Good to see Britney looking happy and healthy. I know, mostly she does lately but it’s still good to see.
