Just to be clear, forgiveness cannot be “earned.” I mean I hate Nate Parker to but the whole concept of forgiveness is based on the idea that we are better off letting go of a hatred or prejudice or desire for revenge than we are forcing someone to work to repay us.

I had the opposite problem. I *hate* panels. I don’t watch Bill Maher because his show is entirely a panel. I don’t watch cable news because rather than have personality and rather than work toward the truth, they have all defaulted to just a series of panels every hour where everyone gets in a soundbite and NOTHING…

Except that as the article said, imposter syndrome has no gender bias. No study was ever able to make that correlation. Perhaps this is less about objective levels of confidence, and more how we perceive the confidence of others?

When I was out of high school and worked at Best Buy I fucked literally all of them because I was moving and people finding me on the Internet is not a thing.

I’m just not ok with Hollywood being all “regular version” movie and then “women’s version” movie. We aren’t being represented when its just throwing women into the suits old white men wore 10 years ago.

Hollywood is trying to hide its lack of originality by just keeping the remake train going, and now trying to trick us into liking it by saying “BUT WE ADDED WOMEN THIS TIME!” Like, there are original stories about women you could tell, but no lets just co-opt the movement for more representation…
