Again, its really different. Black people are probably more welcome in public, but the history is worse and the fear is real. Arabs don’t have the history and maybe not the fear: but just about everyone will probably be really defensive.

Depends on how you look at it: I know plenty of black people who hate Arabs, but black people have a longer history of oppression.

On the subject of black experience, black people objectively do have access to information that white people do not have access to; their own subjective experiences.

Police probably would think Kaepernick is latino or “Arab” before black though. Colorism is a big part of how racism is felt.

I read it is as “Kap is half white and raised by a white couple since he was born.” He’s clarified it since, but I’m not sure I believe Kaepernick’s sincerity anyway.

I still take issue with him though. Mike Brown and Trayvon Martin happened and Kaepernick is no where. Suddenly he loses his starting QB spot last year and then he starts finding his blackness.

I just read a transcript of his rant from earlier. He is trying to cloak himself in his blackness, saying the police are out to get him and calling the police a gang. Nevermind that the police have a history of going easy on rich, famous black men who abuse women.

I’m on your level. Aliens probably exist: the universe is so vast and we can only see such a small part of it, and everything we see is from light years away so its likely all we can see is from thousands, millions, maybe even billions of years ago.
